I have had this unit for years now! at around the 3rd year mark, the grinder quit working, but alas, kenmore has a 3 year warranty and they replaced it for free!! The only negative I have with it, is you have to stay present and kinda move beans around while it’s grinding, cause it seems most of the time it clogs up or something and you’ll get a weak ass pot of coffee! lol

I’ve had this less than a month and returning as multiple days it doesn’t make coffee and then at the most random time of day it will turn on and make that pot of coffee I tried all morning to make. Don’t waste your money!!

All previous coffeemakers we have had the program light stayed lite, so you could make sure you had set it before going to bed. This one does not. We called Koolatron their customer service agent. They were unfamiliar with the product as just took over Kenmore service. They were not helpful and did not want to look into it, so we stated we were going to ask Amazon to send another. We received replacement and it does same thing. We like the coffeemaker but it seems odd that the program button does not stay lite to verify it has been set. Koolatron terrible customer service company so if don’t need help buy this.

The Grinder works great, but the heating element did not last very long. This is the one reason I hated buying integrated components. Now trying to figure out how to have it fixed.
Updated: I was able to figure out how to fix the problem. It wasn’t the heating element that went bad. It was actually the thermostat. I was able to open the bottom of the unit I detached the thermostat unit from the heating element and somehow reset it by plugging it in while the thermostat was detached. BEWARE it gets very very hot. Once it cooled down I reattached the thermostat and resolved the issue and salvaged the unit for full use again.

We tried 7 times, used all options, searched for solutions, and never once got a drinkable pot of coffee. The grind was inconsistent, sometimes work and sometimes nothing. We are still trying to get refunded but they want to send us another one. Stay tuned
