Bulletproof Original Medium Roast Ground Decaf Coffee, 12 Ounces, 100% Arabica Coffee Sourced from Guatemala, Colombia, & El Salvador

You know, I really love the other reviewers who smash a product when not being used as intended; or worse yet not having used it at all. Don’t let them fool you, this is a great product and it is meant to be used as part of the Bulletproof (BP) plan. I’ve been making the BP coffee now for about 3 weeks. In short, you brew it, pour it into a blender, combine grass fed butter and their MCT oil, and enjoy! Wow this stuff is delicious, and satisfying.

You see, heading into this change, I was an overworked business owner who was not able to keep up with taking care of myself. I had fallen back into the bad habit of not making good decisions about my nutritional needs. I was drinking coffee in the morning with sugary creamers. By the time I was out the door my heart was literally pounding out of my chest, my blood pressure was too high, and I was gripped with anxiety. Combine that with the fact that typical coffees have the danger of being contaminated with mold toxins and you have an elevated flight or fight response (toxins in your diet cause your sympathetic nervous system to go into defense mode). I really felt like I was 2 steps away from a heart attack.

I just took my blood pressure after a cup of really strong coffee, it was 127/86. Incredible, my bottom number has not been below 90 in 10 years, AND after a cup of coffee! I am using this coffee in conjunction with the BP eating plan. This plan stresses the elimination of sugars, bad grains, bad oils, and toxins. You elevate your intake of quality proteins, good fats, and quality vegetables. You do all this while integrating intermittent fasting and light exercise.

If you ACTUALLY READ his book, David Asprey, breaks down all the details for you in a straightforward manner. What he says makes a lot of sense, and he backs it up with plenty of reference and personal experience. The guy spent hundreds of thousands of his own money to figure out what works and what does not. Much of what he says goes against convention, but don’t let that discourage you either. I have been a student of diet for nearly 20 years, and many of the ‘commonly accepted’ so called ‘facts’ about our diet are meant to serve a food and pharmacology industry that is more concerned with it’s own profits as opposed to our health. Most of what the author says aligns with new research as well as the improving organic food supply chain.

If you are a critic, I challenge you to read the book and try the eating plan! How can you constructively criticize something you have not tried; or worse yet tried only one component and then turn around and attempt to discourage others with only a few lines of meaningless criticisms?

If you are reading this and you are on the fence about trying this eating plan, I say: give it a shot! for less than 100 bucks you can download the book, and while you are reading the book, order the coffee and MCT oil kit. Get your grass fed butter and take your first steps. I am so glad I did! In the short time I have been lightly following the eating plan, my blood pressure is back down to normal, I have lost about 8 lbs., my anxiety is gone, and I have a noticeable improvement mental clarity.

I tried this coffee at someone else’s house, with a very similar coffee machine (same brand different model) and the beans were not so dark. The result was a more smooth coffee. I have found the light brown beans (less roasting time)to be more to my taste. Other than that it is still a good coffee

Lovely. We have tried adding to it organic butter, coconut oil, nut butters, coconut butter, cinnamon, chocolate, all being organic of course all different tasty and healthy. We have these healthy fats to give us extra energy and health when gardening and it works (both in mid sixties we cut down trees pull logs) but you must mix in a good blender to mix the fats up in coffee. See video on uTube. For stamina with switched on brain for a job to be done it works for us. I have to add we eat healthy natural foods, cooked, raw, plenty green juices and bone broths this coffee is a luxury extra when needed. Good health cheers.

The coffee itself had a good taste, but however it made me nauseated throughout the day. Not sure if there is more caffeine in it or the process to make it decaf might be my issue. I really wanted to like this coffee, my husband drinks the regular and enjoys it. Will continue to buy that for him, but sadly my hunt is still on going.

Sadly still got the ‘Coffee Headache’.
I had hoped that the guarantee of it being mould-free would mean no headaches.
Actually got much more of a headache than with a brand of Organic Instant Coffee!
I have since tried the Bulletproof decaf’ to see if it was the caffeine, but actually still got the ‘Coffee Headache’ with the decaf’ too. The headache was less with the decaf’, but still there.
I also tried it with and without the Bulletproof oil to see if it was that that was stirring up my brain, but it made no difference.
Smelt and tasted lovely, and great to have the beans to grind freshly, so overall 3 stars.

This is a little bit too strong of a decaf coffee for me, but flavor is okay, altho’ i prefer a darker roast, if i really want flavor. Not much acidity, & can freah-grind easily. Packaging is aa good as any, & weight is 2oz. more than my currently preferred brand.

Tastes great! Nice knowing I’m not drinking toxic coffee. Tastes better than Starbucks in my option.
