This is an excellent coffee maker. We especially love that we can make either a single cup or an entire carafe so easily. We can use both ground coffee or pods for a single cup, which works great for our needs. It’s also simple to use, and the price is great for such a quality coffee maker.

I have I have enjoyed using this product for about a month now. Love the three in one brewing options! Only thing is it had an error screen on using single serve option and stopped working. Returned to Amazon and reordered another one. Hopefully this one will last longer.

I love that it makes a full pot of coffee or you can switch the the K-cups, singles. It’s great! Very easy to clean and refill with water any time. Both sides are easy to program and fill with coffee. It’s the perfect size and has been working well since the first day we got it. I absolutely love it.

Yes it really does deliver both options for the two types of personalities in our house! One person can have a fresh pot ready in the morning, and the other person can have a single K-Cup anytime. The K-Cup single serve unit works nicely and is easy to clean. The best part is, they each have their own reservoir which makes it convenient to measure only what we need. The only drawback is trying to set the pot schedule/delay is quirky and takes some getting used to. But in the end it works perfectly.

I have had this for 3 days, the k cup option has quit working after 2 uses! So you should just buy a regular coffee pot! I’ve contacted Hamilton beach support and they will not return my call. I can’t return because I threw out the original box. Totally unacceptable Hamilton Beach!

This coffeemaker works fine. I like the brew strength feature and the single cup design was the best I have used. It gave me the ability to brew a single cup with either the K-cup or home ground coffee. The storage for the second insert was clever and convenient. There are two features that make it less than ideal for me. My first dislike is the design of the reservoir. The shape makes it difficult to get water in without getting it everywhere. Additionally, there is an overflow drain in the back, which can also lead to water behind the machine needing to be cleaned up. My second issue is that the warming plate didn’t keep the coffee very hot.

Well..worked great until 1 day after i could return it…it no longer will dispense water and brew frim single serve portion.
Very upset..want a cheap version, but i guess inwill just have to eat that cost and live and learn..and look at what return policy is before purchase next time.
This model on more than 4 occasions after purchase goes into “OVERLOAD” Mode..which upon doimg research can be many different reasons! Needle blocked by grounds, to water somehow not flowing to the brew head..regardless i WOULD NOT RECCOMEND anyone to Purchase

 Been using a single cup Keurig coffee maker for years decided to change for so I can Brew a whole pot of coffee again see below for my pros and cons of this coffee maker
PROS:
BEST OF BOTH WORLD 2 MACHINES IN ONE- you get a single brewer and a coffee maker to brew a whole pot of Coffee
LOTS OF CUPS AND A COUPLE OF BREW OPTIONS- cup sizes range from 6oz to 14oz and will let you know on the screen how many ounces is in you cup, also has a brew strength, of “regular” and “bold”. If you choose bold it just takes a little bit longer to brew. Works on both K cups and Coffee pot
GIVES YOU 2 COFFEE CUPS FOR SINGLE BREW- one cup to use for the single cup K cups and another one if you want to brew single cup of your own. They just sit in there so very easy to swap from k-cup to your own ground/instant coffee.
2 HOUR AUTO OFF FOR THE WARMING TRAY- when you brew a whole pot of Coffeee warming tray stays warm for 2 hours after pot is brewed. Warming tray does not turn on when you use the Coffee maker for single K Cups
DELAY TIMER WORKS AS IT SHOULD- clock is easy to program and delay timer works as it should, takes about 1.5 mins for every cup of coffee if you plan to brew a whole pot
CONS:
TEST YOU K-CUP MACHINE THOROUGHLY- seems to be a break in period for this machine. 1st week of owning this machine did not like light roast coffee. Would get to 5 oz and it would kick out an error for being plugged. Dark roast and regular worked fine. Fixed it by running hot water though the 1st time than would run it with the K cup the 2nd time (i.e Brew hot water 1st time and the K cup the 2nd time) light roast K cup worked fine after that does not kick out an error anymore tired it 3 times before writing this review and did not have to run it through with Hot water, just put the K cup in and no error
NO POWER OFF BUTTON- no button to turn off the coffee maker once done, blue blacklight stays on even hours after done using, no sleep mode will have to unplug it after you are done and reprogram the clock if you use the delay timer, or live with the bluelight being on all time
NOTHING TO CATCH EXCESS COFFEE- measure your coffee cups before you brew as there is nothing to catch the coffee if brew to much coffee, extender for smaller coffee cups is hollow
IN CONCLUSION
coffee maker I do think is a 4.5 star machine but with no power switch and having to deal with light roast k-cups not working the 1st week had to dock one star from this machine. Highly recommend this machine if you want single use for mornings and brewing a whole pot of coffee when you have friends over. Power switch or even a 9 Volt battery so you unplug the machine and it would at least keep the time

This product is absolutely the worst I have ever owned. I bought one a few years ago at superstore. It quit on me so I ordered one from Amazon I don’t own a car or a printer so to get it replaced was costly. I reordered another one. This one leaks and is noisy. I will be t throwing this one out as well. I will replace it at either Walmart or superstore but it will certainly be another brand. I also bought a electric can opener and it works sporadically. It’s also going to be replaced. To phone this number is ridiculous. It’s a recording on a loop. No one manning the customer service I invested in these products because Hamilton beach was a reputable company with great product. Absolutely no longer. Never again will I buy a product from Hamilton beach

This machine works perfectly on ground coffee brews and k cups as advertised. It does not make too much noise when the brew is ready.
It is a little bulky on its size so be ready to make some space in your kitchen.
It is easy to assemble and to get it cleaned up.
