I bought this for my parents since they want to put their old on in the camper. They love it! It’s easy to use and makes good coffee. They are in their 60s and said it was easy to learn.

The only con I came across with this coffee maker is the carafe seems to bump on the water stop valve, the valve has issues going up and wants to lean instead, pushing the coffee maker back, or in the worst case, wanting to tip it over. Angling the carafe only scratches up the non-stick heat plate (i have birds so this is a major issue for me) and other than putting the carafe in first, then closing the basket door, no way to avoid this. Maybe I just got an overly strong spring and everyone else will never have this issue, but I wont be buying another one to find out.
Other than that one issue, this coffee maker is great, its quick and quiet. smaller than the last few I have had over the years with easy access to clean if you have hard water like i do. It also has an indicator to clean it after so many cycles.

The ability to fill it with water from the front is a nice feature. Uses Alexa routine to set auto brewing times. The clock syncs with Alexa, so it never loses settings after a power outage. My only complaint: the coffee temperature is extremely hot after brewing, and also later when left on the warming plate. It cannot be adjusted.

Works like a charm! I prepare tomorrows coffee the night before and when I get up I COMMAND Alexa to “Turn the coffee pot on!” and it makes the brew right away. Don’t say “Alexa, make the coffee” because Alexa will say “I can’t make coffee.” It took me a minute to figure out how to tell Alexa to turn the coffee pot on but eventually I got it right.

My only issue is that it is a little tricky to get the carafe under the pause and pour control… you need to get the carafe positioned at the right angle! Other than that minor detail I’m pleased with the product so far.

For me, the only reason to have a remote, smart coffee maker is to enable the brewing a couple of minutes before I’m going to drink it and ensure fresh coffee. This is great for that. Yes, Alexa app is a little clunky, but not awful. Coffee tastes good, easy to use. After you set the coffee maker up with water and coffee, not sure what the purpose is of the “ready to brew” additional button, it’s easy to forget to enable that button after putting the coffee, filter and water into it.

Súper fácil de usar ya sea manual o con Alexa. Es la mejor cafetera que he tenido. Una gran ventaja es que el depósito de agua es fijo y agregarla es muy práctico. Un poco complicado el agregar al skin de Alexa pero al final lo logré !!!

Our previous Hamilton Beach could be manually pre programmed and worked great. But when it died I was seduced by the notion of having Alexa take over the programming part. What I didn’t realize was that Alexa added one more link that could go wrong. About 60% of the time she turns on the coffee at the correct time. The other 30%, she acknowledges the request but either decides not to follow through or turns on a wake up alarm instead. It’s hard to know who is at fault, the coffee pot or our wi-fi. But I did learn one thing. If you wake up and expect your coffee at the same time every day, as most people do, skip the smart technology and stick with a basic programmable coffee pot. Sometimes simple is better. Otherwise the coffee pot makes a good cup of coffee.
