Reviewing now that I just got back for a 4 week road trek. I bought the 6 cup in black. This 6 pot is small yet just what I needed as a single person on the road. My only beef with it is that you have to pour it O’ so slowly or it spills out on counter. They definitely need to improve the spout. And the coffee grinds go on top of the water so after making the coffee you do need to tap it upside down to get the strainer out. I kept an empty coffee canister and placed an unused (of coarse) doggie poo bag in the canister so not to leak out.
NOTE: never place on stove with fire further out than the pot. I put on a timer for 8 minutes so I knew when done. Worked great for my need.

This is the third one of these I’ve bought. The first one delighted me when I realized that it works exactly like my grandma’s old electric coffee percolator. As to the question about blending power??!! It’s not a blender. I don’t understand the rating of blending power, so I gave it a one star because . . . it’s not a blender. Inside is a small canister type thing with a a pipe down to the bottom. Unscrew the top from the bottom, fill the bottom with water, then fill the canister thing with coffee–level and not packed–then screw the top on. Set it on the stove, or camp fire, and the water boils and is forced up through the pipe and through the coffee. It comes out in the top part and you’re left with a strong espresso type coffee that I find delicious. I do also like a coffee press, but I feel like this makes a stronger brew. * Hot tip * This can also be used with herbs and coconut oil, or cocoa butter, to make an infusion that you can use in cooking, or even as a lubricant.

Does the job but pour spout does not pour cleanly, no matter how I try to pour it makes a mess everywhere.

This is the way to go to make your coffee! I’m sitting here enjoying a delicious cup of coffee that I made in this lovely little moku pot. I got the silver one. The quality is superior. The taste of the coffee from this thing is just incredible. So I actually usually either have a Americano or a cappuccino with this the coffee you’re going to make from this is going to be very strong and concentrated so I add about half as much hot water to the espresso. This is the trend. This is the coffee maker you want. No one’s doing drip anymore that’s over it’s kaput if you’re not making your coffee and this you’re not cool and all of your friends are gonna make fun of you well they’re not going to, but I will. Lol! I’m just kidding. Obviously I’m getting all hopped up on the caffeine. See what I mean this is your key to having a great day and I do sincerely hope everyone of you reading this does. Have a lovely day! Cheers!

We make our espresso almost every morning with this pot. I bought this size so we could make more than two servings when we have company. It’s been reliable and makes very strong espresso. You don’t need to buy expensive gear to make homemade coffee drinks. We have this pot and a $6 whisk and we are enjoying fabulous lattes and cappuccinos for a few cents a day. Don’t put aluminum in the dishwasher because it will tarnish and become a dull chalky grey (learned the hard way once). This one is easy to clean and I’ll probably keep using it for many years to come. If you need strong coffee to make americanos and other frothed milk coffee drinks this is your gadget. Very worth the few dollars spent.

Funciona mu bien, he seguido las recomendaciones de uso, yo la coloco sobre un comal para que no esté directamente en contacto con la flama así no hay riesgo de que se queme la agarradera y se cambie el color original, sale un rico café ☕️😋

I received a mocha pot years ago as a gift. I loved it, and it served me well for many years before the gaskets wore out and it needed to be tossed for safety reasons. Replaced it with a French press, and have been a loyal user of those.
A French press makes great coffee, but it is not the same as the results a mocha pot generates. Not quite espresso, but close enough if you want to make fancy drinks, and since it’s a richer brew, you get an excellent flavor out of decaffeinated beans (if, like me, you mistakenly purchase some and don’t know what to do with them)
Seems sturdy enough, and is easy to use. I suggest buying whole beans and grinding them yourself for a better brew, and look forward to using this for years to come.

I was apprehensive about this one… given the low price. I used an expensive Italian one while I was recently traveling and thought there’s no way this one could be as good. The expensive Italian one was a little finer, but this one is very close. Highly recommended and glad I didn’t shell out for a much more expensive Italian one. 🙂

I have a smaller version of this for daily use, but bought this one to take along on a family trip and made coffee for everyone in the house as they staggered out of bed a different times. If you know how a Mokka pot works, you don’t need an explanation from me.
A couple of nits:
*On the one I have, you have to tighten the top half down very securely before placing it on the flame, or the boiling water will seep out of the sides rather than brewing up the middle.
*After brewing, the carriage that holds the grounds is difficult to remove from the base. I generally pour the water out by tipping it sideways, then beat the bottom on the side of the trash can to remove the grounds, then rinse the remaining grounds and use a paper towel to remove the basket. The basket on my first one (another brand) comes out very easily.
