I love cold brew but I was spending way too much buying pre made. This makes it super easy to make my own and I can experiment with different coffee blends. Definitely read the directions as it gives you tips on how to make your perfect cold brew.

I really like this carafe. However, if you want that dark, rich, thick, iced coffee like you buy in the bottle? You want Stok unsweetened cold brew? Don’t follow the instructions. You want a finer grind than the recommended “course” grind. You need to FILL the filter. (Stir the grounds while filling the carafe.) Leave it in the fridge for a MINIMUM of 24 hours. Closer to 48 hours. Will filling the carafe take forever? Yes. Will you go through a lot of grounds? Yes. Will you wind up with a lot of sludge at the bottom of the carafe? Yes. Will you need to make a couple of batches and store them separately so you don’t run out because it takes 2 days to brew? Yes. But you get a good replacement for buying cold brew in a bottle or from a coffee shop. So even though you go through grounds faster, (And I buy the good stuff!) you will still save a lot of money. And produce less waste. So not perfect, but I would recommend.

I just bought my 2nd (mint color). I decided to get back into it to save on expensive trips to Starbucks. I am super satisfied! It’s cute, super well made and it’s easy to make cold brew coffee with it. I suggest getting two if you’re a cold brew fan, as it empties quickly. You also have to take into account that once done, when you remove the middle part that infuses the coffee, the level of the coffee goes down, so freshly made, there is already about a cup less. In my photo, the multicolor (bought years ago, I don’t think this color is still available) is the one that is infusing and the mint is the one that is ready to drink. You just use a frother, in another container, with your barista oat milk (milk or cream of your choice), vanilla and cinamon (if you want : sirup of your choice in this foam preparation or/and in the coffee tumbler) and pour the prepartion on the top. I assure you that it’s just as tasty and good looking as Starbucks cold brew and you save on the trip and the 7$ coffee!

I do love this little coffee maker. If I just leave the pot with the coffee in the filter sitting, it does not come out strong enough. But, if I make the coffee in the morning, stir it a few times throughout the day and then again before I toss the grounds, it will get to the correct strength the next morning, but I do have to swish it at least 2 or 3 times. I leave the coffee out the day I am brewing it and then put it in the fridge after it’s done brewing. It lasts me about 3 days.

Use this daily to make coffee and or tea. It cleans up easily and is ready for the next pot. You don’t need a coffee pot if you have this just heat your water in a insta pot and have your favorite beverage ready in minutes. 🙂

Bought this as I typically prefer cold brew over ‘normal’ coffee (idk why 🤷🏻♀️). I’ve used it a handful of times and I love it. It’s the perfect size for one person, although if coffee is your main drink of choice (meaning you drink more than 1-2 cups daily) you may want a bigger pitcher. Besides that, it is easy to clean. Filter where grounds go it removable.

I bought this because I wanted a cold brew maker that isn’t so tall. I recently bought one and I couldn’t bring it to work and use because the work fridge is a small 3-4 cubic feet fridge. Surprisingly this makes a better cold brew and faster than the other one I bought. I also like the fact that this isn’t glass in case if I drop it – won’t break so easily like the other one. The mash inside is sturdier than the old one I got and paid 40% more in cost.

I found this product better than previous versions I have bought with other manufacturers and at a cheaper price. The quality has been good so far it is easy to use and the directions were easy to follow. I have owned for about a month and I use daily. I like that you can pour from it vs having a spout that could potentially leak. It fits easily into my fridge without taking up much room and I usually get about 2 large cups of coffee out of each use. If they had a larger version I would also purchase to get a few more days use. So in exchange for the size you are refilling more often. This was also great for traveling as I brought with me for coffee on vacation!
