This grinder is awesome. the adjustments for the grind size are 100% accurate if you follow the included chart. I use this specifically for my espresso. not sure what some of the reviews saying this doesn’t work for espresso are talking about, using the 3 – 4 setting is perfect for it and 1 – 2 is actually too fine.
it’s a little bit of a pain to clean the burr inside the machine, but with a spare toothbrush or small basting brush, etc, it’s not hard. you just need the right tools. I like that all the other pieces separate, including the top grinding burr.
also, it’s quiet enough that it doesn’t wake my roommates up at 4am when I’m up and getting ready. it’s a lot quieter than one of those push-top grinders where you have to hold it down for however long, and the grind is perfectly even, which those can’t achieve.
I feel like this works just as well as one of the high end conical grinders, but for the price of a basic bladed model.
will continue to buy these if I ever need to replace. I actually got water inside of mine by accident and it didn’t die, and I have a habit of knocking the grinds out when cleaning. so far so good, so 5 stars for durability.

I like that fact that it is shorter than most burr grinders, so it’s easier to store in a tight space with low overhead
It works well for me because I use it with a pour over coffee system. It does well in the fine grind range, which is what I need, but it won’t do well if you need coarse ground coffee for cold brewing.
It seemed to do OK with a French press coffee maker I have, but the coffee flavor wasn’t as strong as what I got with my hand-cranked burr grinder, which has a much wider grind range.
The burr system has a very limited range, and as there doesn’t seem to be any way for the user to fix it to make a coarser grind than the most coarse grind it offers, I consider this to be a design flaw. If I had bought this for cold brew coffee, I would’ve returned it, but for my purposes, I’m happy with it.
Two notes:
1) Be sure the ground coffee receptacle is seated properly, or it won’t turn on.
2) The grinding stops automatically based on the number of cups you want to make-I wish it had a manual control option where I could turn it off myself, but this is not a game-changer for me.

I always wondered why my coffee never tasted as good at home as it did at many coffee shops. The short answer for me is that my coffee was not ground finely enough.
When I first asked why coffee at home was not as good as the coffee shops there were a few possible reasons.
Am I using quality coffee? Is my coffee maker of sufficient quality? Is the coffee fresh enough? Am I choosing the best type of coffee for my taste? Am I using enough coffee grounds? Is my water hot enough? Is my water pure enough?
I experimented with all of these things with varying measures of success. Of course water and coffee quality makes a difference. Coffee has to be relatively fresh and the water needs to taste good. But the taste of home brew was never close to a good coffee shop.
I use a Keurig coffee maker. Different flavors of k-cups tasted differently but were never great. I started using reusable filter cups because I hated to throw away all those plastic coffee containers and it was cheaper to buy bulk coffee.
It didn’t seem to make a big difference whether I used store bought ground or whether I used a blade grinder. I had never heard of a burr grinder until friend of mine bought an expensive coffee make and discovered that other coffee fanatics recommended a burr grinder as well. I was always a little intimidated and the prices these people were paying for a grinder.
I realized that the coffee grinder at the grocery store grinds the beans finely and that it was probably a burr grinder. I gave it a try. This was an epiphany for me. The biggest improvement in coffee taste came from using a burr grinder and choosing a fine grind. I used the store grinder for a while, but being a publicly available grinder it was subject to heavy use and spotty maintenance. The grounds did not always turn out the way I liked.
I was pretty amazed that I found the Mueller SuperGrind at this price point and form factor. The Mueller SuperGrind is the perfect tool for my home use.
The Mueller grinder is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. I grind about a pound a month maybe? I keep the grinder on a pantry shelf most of the time, so the smaller form factor is convenient. I spend about 20 minutes a month grinding coffee. I keep the grounds in a canister. It doesn’t make a difference to me whether it is fresh ground daily or I store the grounds less than a month. It hasn’t made a difference if I store the grounds in the refrigerator or the shelf Again the biggest factor is taste for me is the fineness of the grounds.
The build quality of the Mueller SuperGrind is solid. the parts slide into place easily and it is easy to keep clean with a brush. The fit an finish is nice. The appearance is nice enough to keep on the counter top if you have the space.
Because I like a finer ground, it does mean I have to keep the Keurig coffee maker clean. Some of the finer grounds come through the filter and settle in the coffee maker. This little bit of added maintenance is worth the improvement in taste.
My only complaint is that there are two dials and it is not intuitive to know which dial controls what and in what direction. Keep the manual for reference. The directions on the Amazon description here are good enough in a pinch.
I highly recommend this grinder. It solved the taste test for me.I can express enough how big an improvement it is in my daily coffee drinking. This improves every coffee bean type I have ever bought. I even reground store bought ground coffee at a finer setting and it improved the taste.

I recently purchased this coffee grinder, and I have to say, it’s been a complete game-changer for my morning coffee routine. As a coffee enthusiast, I’ve used my fair share of grinders over the years, but this one stands out in so many ways.
First of all, the build quality is exceptional. It has a sturdy and premium feel to it, which immediately gave me confidence in its performance. The design is sleek and modern, making it a great addition to my kitchen countertop.
Now, let’s talk about the features. The variety of grind settings is impressive. Whether I’m in the mood for a coarse grind for my French press or a fine grind for my espresso machine, this grinder has me covered. The settings are easy to adjust, and the consistency of the grind is remarkable. It’s clear that this grinder is designed with precision in mind.
One thing I truly appreciate is the large capacity of the bean hopper. It saves me the hassle of refilling it every day, and the airtight seal keeps my coffee beans fresh and flavorful. Plus, the grounds container is spacious enough to accommodate the amount I need for my morning brew without making a mess.
But what truly sets this coffee grinder apart is the quiet operation. I can grind my beans early in the morning without waking up the entire household. It’s surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus for me.
