I was looking for coffee that wasn’t exorbitantly priced, like many are lately. I’ve been drinking Lavazzo for a couple of years, but recently started educating myself on what is considered to be good coffee. I learned that coffee should be organic and from a single origin. I also learned that the dark roasts I’ve always favored actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts.
Then I saw this one and with the reasonable price😀, the fact that it’s NOT a dark roast, and says single origin I decided to read the reviews. They almost all said it was excellent coffee, so I took a chance. I say chance because it’s a 2.5 pound commitment!
I wasn’t expecting it to smell so different and delicious. I’m out of it right now and I’m craving that smell. The taste is robust yet SMOOTH. Almost like a good, soft caramel. My husband and I are absolutely hooked. We just ordered our second bag on a subscription plan. I’m praying the price never skyrockets. Oh, and I recently served it at a family dinner and my daughter, without being prompted, said it’s the best coffee she has ever had in her life. Yes, I agree with that.

I make cold brew with this coffee and it’s delicious. I grind coarse and let it soak in water in the refrigerator for 24hrs. The result is a strong and smooth cold brew. I like it more than the local coffee shops I typically bought from, and my friends absolutely love it as well and ask me to make them some!
