I purchased this Lavazza Crema E Gusto Whole Bean Coffee to use in my new Bialetti Venus stovetop espresso maker. It’s advertised as a dark roast, and it’s not, it’s quite light. I’m disappointed in this coffee, as I was anticipating something that would resemble dark roast flavors that I’m used to. Unfortunately for me it tastes the same as inexpensive canned light roast coffee common in the USA, like Folgers or Maxwell House. This morning I made some in my Melitta pour over system with the same results.

I tried it on sale and was very happy. I was worried it might be bitter but not the case. Smooth as can be. It started me out on buying coffee beans at the local stores and I’m hoping for a sale otherwise I’d be ordering again. Amazon prices sure do fluctuate and when discounts are offered I try to jump on them.

Ad onor del vero va detto con la massima onestà che forse, visto il prezzo, di più non ci si può attendere da un caffè di fascia medio bassa
