I am really on the fence about this purchase and I might return it. I like that the coffee grinder is small and does not take up much space and it is very well made. It is just me and I feel like the coffee grinder is still to small. It does not hold a lot of beans so it will grind maybe enough for a 2-4 cup coffee maker depending on how strong you like your coffee. I still have to leave a canister out for the beans as it does not hold enough to just fill it every few days, it needs to be filled every time you want coffee. This means it is messy. I also do not like that the coffee measuring spoon does not fit in the small jar of ground coffee so you need to pour it into the spoon if you measure and it ends up everywhere. Don’t get me wrong this is a Great little machine however it is just not for me and my needs. Would make a great travel grinder if you like your coffee your way and take it with you on the road. Quality Mini Coffee Grinder if that’s what you are looking for, then go for it.

It gets a consistent grind after daily use for several months, it doesn’t feel lose, it’s pretty easy to keep clean and it’s simple to use. My hands have gotten used to the motion after using it every morning it feels like it barely takes any time at all and is much cheaper than getting a good electric grinder. This thing gives me top quality grind at a tenth of the price.

This is such a nicely made little grinder. I used it for my camping trip. It’s a labor of love to hand grind your coffee beans, but also is a really enjoyable process. Love this sweet little coffee gadget.

As I’ve used this nearly daily for two months or so, my muscles have gotten more used to it. While it still bothers my hands a tiny bit, I am having an easier time now, and going faster with it, so I will keep the grinder. I still think a better design would have a round top, a wider base, and/or perhaps a grippy bottom so it’s harder to slide around when using the counter as an anchor. But overall it’s good! I have a good routine: it limits me to the two mugs I want to drink per day (a drip machine is so easy, I’d be drinking more cups than I want to). I’m still happier now with my coffee flavor for using with a french press. 🙂

The flavor of my coffee is much better, coming from a blade grinder! 100% improvement. However, this item is not easy to handle. The handle itself is not ergonomic. They should have made it with a round handle at the top instead of how it is. Seems like common sense, but perhaps they didn’t think of it, or they wanted to be different or something. The way it’s made, it’s hard to grind without getting sore hands. My hands are delicate, so a round top handle would work better.
Also, since the whole thing is narrow, you can hardly use a flat surface to leverage it, it bounces all around with the force and momentum. It forces me to grind it up in the air, which is not the most comfortable either. A better design would be to have a wider base, more like a cylindrical trapezoid type shape, getting wider at the bottom. I will keep this one for now, but look for a better design to replace it with down the line and I will gift this one then. The value for the money is not bad considering the much better flavor for using a french press with, as it requires an evenly coarse grind.
