I ordered this coffee maker bc my mom has one (and I loved it!). It makes awesome coffee (bold or regular) every time, is easy to clean (including the permanent filter) and makes a great single cup too. Haven’t used any compatible pods in it yet. Do note the dimensions as it does take up some room on the counter. Recommended for durability, value for money, and versatility.

I love the dual compatibility for either single or a full pot use. And the reusable K cup has been a great feature. This machine works with K cups so I can also just purchase them. Easy to clean aswell

I purchased this because it had a lot of features. Of course it takes KEURIG pods that I liked. It also has an attachment to where if you like to make hot tea it comes with its own tea strainer. The pot is wonderful if you have many guests and want to save on the pods. The water container in the back is perfect. Easy to get to no fuss in replacing the water. My girlfriend gave me a Britta as a gift, so I fill it with water and it has its strainer so my machine gets low on water. I popped the top off pour it and Walla.. It’s actually double strained because it does come with an another filter. , so I fill it with water and it has its filter so when the machine gets low on water. I popped the top off pour it and Walla. When other little tip that I absolutely love is that you do not have to wait for the water tank to warm up. The minute you push that button it automatically starts. Last but not least in opening up the top to put your pod in keep in mind that when you close it, you need to press just a little Pressure to wait for it to snap. because it’s new. It will take some time for it just to gently snap on its own but I love it. Enjoy your coffee!

Needed a new coffee pot to replace a single function pod pot. Wanted a dual use one so could get rid of one pot that only did carafes. This dual use pot is fantastic! Easy to set up timer to make a pot next morning, and can make individual cups with either pods or ground coffee in either regular or bold strengths, Very easy to clean as stores no water so no Build up. The keep warm plate works well for a couple of hours to keep coffee hot.

I needed a new coffee pot for the work office. Small office with five employees, but we all drink two to three cups a day. We also had a K-Cup machine for those afternoon cups. I was able to throw away my normal coffee maker and the K-Cup machine which was great.
Setup is easy, but changing the time and programming was slightly confusing, but once you figure it out, super easy. Just wait a second for the hour to stop blinking and it moves to the minutes. Same for programming the auto brew for the morning.
Coffee tastes great, and the warmer keeps the coffee really hot. Much hotter than a Mr. Coffee brand maker that we got rid of. My one and only complaint is the brew time. The 12-cup maker part makes coffee as excepted, but slower than the Mr. Coffee to brew the same 12 cups. The K-Cup part is the disappointment. The brewing part can house a standard mug or a travel mug. What the instructions don’t tell you is no matter how much water you put in the tank for the K-Cup, that is what is coming out. My first cup overflowed and made a mess. As you can imagine, I filled the tank up to full and pressed brew, and then waited, and I mean waited. It takes a solid three to four minutes to start brewing the K-Cup side. Normal K-Cup brewers brew in seconds to a minute at most. Even to heat the water up. However, this coffee maker takes forever. I was able to go to the bathroom, wash a few mugs, and straighten up the kitchen all before the thing made a noise that it was heating up the water. I am really perplexed that the K-Cup part takes so long to brew and that is supposed to be the faster and more convenient option. Baffles me.

I read through a lot of reviews when I was searching for a new coffee pot. I liked the idea of being able to make a single cup of something vs a whole pot. So we landed on this. We have had it almost a year now and it is still working just as it should. I did start to notice a slowness and some difficulty with the Kcup side yesterday and I took it apart and found some calcification. If you aren’t using distilled/purified water be sure to clean it out regularly. (Apparently I need to do it a bit more often) I wiped it out, ran some vinegar through it and it’s back to normal brewing.

This was so easy to set up my 10-year-old did it as a gift for her daddy and me. It makes a single cup of coffee very quickly, and the reservoir lasts for several cups. It makes the process even simpler by having a removable reservoir to take to the sink.
On the carafe side, you fill up the water reservoir with however much coffee you want to make. It does take a little longer, but still it does work quickly.
I love that you can delay your brew for the carafe, and for both sides you can control the strength of your brew. This is well worth the money and for everything it does, it does not take up much counter space.
A wise buy that I am very pleased with!

This is our 3rd HB flex brew. We love them all. Consistent in design and function makes it easy to set up. Each has lasted about 7 years or so which is great for a relatively inexpensive appliance.

I had used the Hamilton Beach single serve “scoop” model for a few years as my only coffee maker. I wanted to upgrade so I had the ability to make a full pot when I had company. Saw this with the single serve side and ability to use k cups and decided to get it.

I really like it. The single serve side is an upgrade from the Scoop model. It allows you to use K cups or your own coffee. The scoop always dripped for a minute or so after brewing and made a mess so I always had an old towel in front of the machine. Not a problem with this one. When it’s done brewing it stops dripping. Works great with either my own coffee or K cups. Also, the scoop model always seemed to leave a few grinds in the cup, I haven’t had that happen with this model. The full carafe side works great too – no complaints there. I made a pot using a paper filter so I can’t speak to the permanent filter it came with.

My only mild criticism is when using K cups you have to be careful the latch is secured. I had a couple brews that got interrupted because it popped open and stopped brewing (but closing it and pushing the brew button again restarted the brewing I didn’t waste a cup). Now that I am aware of this I am extra careful when closing it and no problems. Also the single serve side takes significantly longer than a keurig machine; but that doesn’t really bother me, but I can see some people who are accustomed to a Keurig machine being annoyed by that.
