Husband likes it, I liked the price of $39.99. I got this on Sept. 14, 2023 and it works fine. I will say I wouldn’t pay a penny more for it. I don’t use it, my husband does. Pros, it’s small and works. Cons, lower end feel/look a little cheap. If it breaks down, I’ll update my review. Today is Sept. 28, 2023 I don’t even want to know if this is from China, I forgot to look before buying! 🙁

I hadn’t heard of the Famiworths brand but I took a chance on it for the price and the single serve maker, and it’s been great. We are able to fill the water filter with the exact amount we want to brew for our individual servings, and the water filter in the back is easy to remove to clean. We love ground coffee, so we haven’t used the K-Cups feature yet. But we don’t have any doubts that it should work nicely since the ground coffee we brew always comes out tasting strong without bitterness, coffee grounds, etc. The only thing I’m hoping is that the machine continues to hold up as it has been since we purchased it and I won’t have to get another one in a couple of months like *cough some other brands cough*.

I’ve had this coffee maker for three months and can confidently state that it is a great little coffee maker! We have a drip maker for company and volume coffee, but my husband and I have different tastes and different caffeine needs during the day. Being able to slip a pod into the maker and get piping hot coffee in short order is nice.
The small size takes little space on the counter and so looks attractive. It’s easy to use. We just put water in the cup we’re going to use (because different cups hold different amounts), pour it into the coffee maker, and add our favorite flavor pod. Voila! A couple minutes later we have a nice fresh cup of coffee. I find my husband uses the coffee maker more and more.
We’ve had no issues with the coffee maker and I recommend it. It’s a good product and customer service was sweet to follow up with a thank you for ordering.

****Edited**** I emailed customer service at Famiworths, and within 2 days I received a new coffee maker. Customer Service responded quickly and was very courteous and easy to deal with. The new unit works great and I love it!
Like so many others, it stopped working. After fighting more times than I can count with the machine, I give up! It worked fine for about two months and then went haywire! Both lights would continuously flash. After wasting way too much time dealing with the problem, I figured out the problem seems to be with the sensor that gets pressed down when you close the lid where the coffee pod is. It got to the point that I could only brew a cup of coffee if I stood there and used my hand to put pressure on the front lid. Mind you, it had to be the perfect amount of pressure. Sometimes while applying the pressure, it would be in the process of brewing and then both lights would start flashing again. If I moved my hand a little, I could get it to finish the brewing cycle. There were times when it would take 3 or 4 attempts to get the machine to finish the brewing cycle. Yes, I know I wasted way too much time with this situation. The company needs to figure out the problem and address it. So many people have received defective units and stated the same exact problem. Unfortunately, as with many others, the problem started after the return window had closed.

I gave a 3 originally as the button was not working correctly. Once I posted on Amazon, they replaced my pot with a new one. The lovely delivery service dropped it at a building a block away but the box came to me eventually.
The very first cup of coffee brewed perfectly but then the machine decided to act up. I had to put my left hand on the top and keep my right hand on the button for pods. Thankfully, ground coffee works better, and I only need to press the lower button….so far it is ok without holding the top. I love everything about this machine except the you have to stay with the machine to ensure it works. This is not an easy thing to do with a knee injury. I had an injury right after it arrived and never got to use it within the return period which is why i did not return it. It takes up so little space, brews a hot and tasty cup of coffee. But I worry that it will die out as others have seem to have done before it. I tried to contact customer service but never got a response. I hope that it does not die on me as others have described. If the manufacturer can get the switch part fixed, this would be perfect. Really like the machine and hate grading it under a 5.

If you’re looking for a nice-looking, space saving little Keurig alternative, this is it. Easy to use and clean, small and compact, and includes the “k-cup” insert and one for regular coffee grounds. For my at home daily, I pop in about 8oz water and a k cup, and I’m good. If I head out, I use the grounds insert and make a larger to-go cup (mine is about 6″ tall with the lid off, and holds 12oz, and it fits perfectly). It’s a bit slow on the uptake, but after several months, I can’t complain.

I wanted a single cup coffee maker for my office but didn’t want to pay for the big, expensive brand. This coffee maker works perfectly for my needs and makes as good a cup of coffee as the others do. The only thing that’s different is that this is a loud coffee maker. It’s not an issue in my office because I have my own office, but if you plan to use one in a cubicle, expect to have some curious looks over the cubicle walls! Even with its noises, I’d still buy it again!

This coffee maker is exactly as advertised. Very easy to use and the black color looks sleek. It doesn’t take up much counter space at all. It makes a nice rumble sound when it kicks on, but not loud enough that anyone outside the kitchen would hear it. It cools down quickly. It drips when you remove the empty kcup, but thankfully there is a drip tray for that! I wish the start button wasn’t on the side because maneuvering over the top and then the side means I have to move the machine or find a spot that isn’t tucked away for it, but that is just a MINOR inconvenience. I didn’t get the plasticy smell or taste others mentioned, but I ran two cycles of just water first to clean it.
