I love my cold brew & since I bought this I have it on hand everyday. The strainer does it’s job & steeps the coffee. The top & handle make it easy to pour. I have 3 half gallon jars, one on counter steeping for 24-36hrs & 2 always ready to go in fridge. 1.25 cup of ground coffee & it’s amazing. I use to be a Dunkin girl now im in my fridge girl 😉

Ordered this and a another from a brand called Country Line Kitchen. If I had to choose, I would go with CLK because of little differences. I would say this brand is absolutely fine and will do the job. There were two things that the CLK lid offered that I liked better. The handle itself comes out further from the bottle. I am not squeezing my fingers between the glass and handle on this one but it is much tighter. Also, the handle itself isn’t as substantial in thickness or length. By no means do I think this will break and not suggesting it is flimsy at all. Just preferred Country Line better. The other was the flip top portion of the top. When pouring, the flip top may flip back towards the closed position on both brands. However, the CLK brand goes half way and stops (picture it straight up and down if the jar was sitting on the counter) except you are pouring and the flip top won’t go into the stream. This brand, the flip top will get into the liquid stream when pouring. The filters are about the same between the two, not much difference that I could see. This brand did provide extra gaskets for both the lid sealing to the jar and between the glass and filter. If i had to order again, I would most likely go with the Country Line but this one was perfectly fine.

I coupled this with a 1/2 gal. mason jar that I bought for less than five dollars at Walmart, and the system works great for making and storing cold brew. Appears to be a high quality filter. I’ve used it about 10 times now and so far so good.

We love this product for cold brew coffee. However, we find the seals very helpful in keeping the filter for pouring and serving. We put our coffee grounds OUTSIDE the filter for brewing! Then, the filter does its job for the water before pouring. We like a stronger brew and this does the trick!
