The marks for water and ice are way off in order to get a full pitcher but once i figured out what works it was amazing.

This is a great tea maker with one major flaw, it’s very difficult to get any unused or additional water out of the machine. it has a lip around the top that stops water from coming out even when u turn it upside down, I dont want to store it with water inside between uses and its very difficult or impossible to get the water out by hand, so I had to drill a hole in the top rear to make it possible to drain the water (see photos) I would however recommend this machine it does a great job making tea and u can adjust the brew strength.

I do find the container a bit awkward to remove from door of refrigerator because it is large, but we like that machine makes a good quality of iced tea, which we have here all the time. When full is bait heavy to move in and out of door of refrigerator.

I have seen some of the reviews that show a lot of movement where the pitcher is housed. Looks like flimsy base. What I have learned by using this product for months now. Yes, there is a lot of movement where the pitcher is placed. However, no matter where the pitcher is placed on the base, the pitcher lid is designed at an angle, so it will always drip into the pitcher. I have not had any issues. If you want a true high quality product, you are going to need to pay a helluva lot more. I use this product every other day. One thing I do after each use, is turn the machine over into the sink and slightly shake any excess water (there is usually a little bit of water left in the reservoir) to help dry out machine. I always keep the machine unplugged. I also position the percolator arm to the back, so that the lid lays on it and stays open for a few hours to dry out. Machine has been well worth it to us. I have zero complaints about this inexpensive option. I rather enjoy this machine, we don’t use ice during the brewing, we double brew basically to the top of the pitcher (let it cool) and then add cold water to fill our other gallon pitcher to the top and then I add ice into the glasses. Fun tidbit of information is then I double brew, I put 10 regular size green tea bags into the filter (for my gallon pitcher) and 4 country peach tea bags (from celestial seasonings) and it makes yummy peach tea!! Have fun!!!

Love this ice tea maker. Just use it for tea only no ice. Like the strength adjustment on front of unit. I usually put full strength tea in fridge and take out as needed.i use 3 family size great value teabags. Roommate took our old one back to her apt because she bought it. Had to get another unit because I got use to convenience. Pleased with purchase.
