The Bialetti original Moka is simple and effective, I have owned several sizes over the years so bias but, the overall quality of what is a simple idea and also knowing this product is still made in Italy helps with the whole experience. The 3 Cup is good for two or a larger coffee but not if you want a mug full, think expresso cup, but not expresso flavour its a Moka. Taste is dependent on many factors too, ensuring you have a good coffee blend and the right grind, not leaving the pot on the heat too long as well. However, that all said its very quick and effective. Great product an being so many produced and a traditional design there a plenty of spares available to keep it working well. Follow the guide, and clean by rinsing with just water and its environmentally better too. Recommended

I’ve been using this style of espresso maker since for the last 30 years and I have bought countless of different brands over the years. Some have been good and others not so great. This one however has been the BEST one I have used in 30 years. It feels very well made down to the handle. Even the filter feels very sturdy and a tad heavier than others out there. I am guessing they used a heavier gauge steel all around. Props to the maker, I am happy with it and have been buying my family replacements lol.

On a teacher salary- I shouldn’t be spending upwards to $140 monthly on coffee. That’s once or twice a day getting to work at 7am and staying up late with mom duties (and going to school)
    I need my caffeine regardless…!

This has been such a great purchase! Definitely for a quick latte in the mornings! I’m not a coffee connoisseur. So adding syrup, milk, using a frother. Taste just as good as going to get one and I’m not spending $5-7 daily on a drink.

There was a leak with the seal. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t.

At the end of the day- I think it’s definitely worth it.

I had a fancy stainless steel moka pot that I was pleased with. Then, on one fateful day, I visited a friend who had the original aluminum version (this one). The flavor profile was deeper and more complex and noticeably better. I donated the steel pot to a thrift store and got this model and am totally satisfied. No wonder it is still around after so many decades!

I was skeptical but wasn’t about to pay $150+ for another small espresso machine. So I bought this baby, the small one alone side the Ratrso Milk Warmer/Frother. I am 100% Satisfied. I found the perfect amount of grinds to add is 1.50 tbsp – 2tbsp.

Yes! I know the reviews are mixed, but I use fine ground espresso style coffee grinds and it works just fine. My goal was lattes at home to save money.

I turn on my stove to medium to let it heat up. I fill the bottom of this with water to the bottom of the little ridge. Put the espresso cup in and add the espresso. Then put the top on, just a little tight and put this on the stove. Takes mine about 3-4 minutes to start doing its thing. Once I hear it speaking to my soul, I turn it off and let it sit there to finish. It legit takes less a minute. Once the foamy brown goodness starts coming out saying there is no more water I remove it and pour it into my cup.

I fill the Rastro Milk Frother half way between the two lines, I use Oatmilk, which froths nicely. I tried Milkadamia Milk and there was not much froth so it depends on your Milk. I like to do it 2x, first time on Cappucino (most frothy) 2nd time on regular, more for the heating purpose.

These two gems make a perfect latte at home. One of those lattes that you don’t have the urge to go to Starbucks after to get another one because you feel you missing something.

Save Money and get this baby now. They sell it at Target but it was 2x the price! So be patient and order it here. Lol
