It works well and makes great coffee. However, after a few months of use the bright yellow enamel turned dingy greenish. Even with oven cleaner it did not come off so I think the enamel changed color. The cups to get hot as other reviews mention but that should be expected and not a fault of the design, in my opinion. Overall happy with the espresso maker but it is just not cute anymore.

Overall great coffee simple to use. What I disliked was I received red cups instead of the yellow cups as shown in the description and in all of the pictures. I tried speaking to Amazon and got no where. They should update the product if the one on display is no the one we are receiving.

It’s so cute, excellent conversation starter.
It does misfire and one side of the dispensar clogs, causing uneven espresso shots. You have to wait for it to cool down before being able to handle and make another round. So, if you need more than two shots it can take some time.

I’ve had this for about 6 months now. Despite using very low heat, the hard plastic handle melted within the first week. At this point, it’s split down the plastic seam. The base is also very small, so it’s a balancing act on my gas stove burners. It really is cute, though, and the espresso comes out great. I just think it needs a material change to the plastic handle design… maybe wood… or silicon?
