Wow! is what I think of this coffee grinder. Assembly takes about 10 seconds and the warning to check for alignment of the burr wasn’t needed… the first test grind was perfect.
I bought this to grind small amounts of coffee to use in a stainless-steel filter for my K cup Keurig. I put the setting on 4, ground two tablespoons (as measured by the markings on the glass jar) and made my first cup of coffee.
The results were perfect, and the hopper in the grinder holds about enough beans to make 6 tablespoons+ per filling.
The grinder is well made and I expect it will last for years and years.

This grinder is easy to use. It grinds consistently. Almost espresso fine. I can pull a shot from it. That’s saying something. 5 settings is all that’s needed. It’s accurate and stable. I have arthritis and I can grind 24 grams in 45 seconds with minimal discomfort. Great little grinder. Solid build. Don’t mess with the ones (most) with the burr adjustment inside the grinder. Practically worthless. Best for the money.

Of all the grinders I’ve tried, this is my favorite:
-great quality materials
-just the right size for my medium glove size hands to grip
-on the finest grind setting (#1 for espresso) takes only a moderate effort and about 6 minutes to grind a full jar, which is just enough for a 6 cup mokka style stove top espresso steamer.
-setting #4 for a French Press is just 3 minutes and even less effort.
Bonus, really nice customer support. Just buy it already!

I got this for myself to use on our decaf beans (I don’t drink caffeine and our large machine with built-in grinder has the regular beans). It’s a bit of a workout at first if you’re not used to it, but it goes really smooth once you get the motion right.
The glass basin comes with a separate lid so if you grind too much you can always store the extra, but I still wouldn’t for more than a day because fresh-ground really is the best!
Cleaning it isn’t so bad, it’s not super ideal because the grinder basin isn’t water-tight (which is a good thing, you need to be able to adjust the grind settings), so this only means you can’t put in water for an easy shake clean. I still manage it just fine, but it means while shaking some water will drip through. I pour soap directly down to the burrs and then quickly put in water and shake vigorously in the sink. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. So far (it’s been a couple months of near daily use) it’s all still working great!
It breaks down pretty small, too, so would be easy to put in your luggage if you gotta have that fresh-ground brew even on your travels!

The grinder is high quality but not as good as the people running this company. They’re so helpful and always wanting to make sure the customer is taken care of. I had some minor issues and those concerns were resolved immediately without any hassle. In this day, these types of companies are hard to come by. I did a lot of research on manual grinders and this one seemed to be the most bang for your buck. I’m not willing to spend a fortune on a coffee grinder but at the same time want to make sure that I’m using quality materials if I am going to make a cup. Unless you are an elite coffee snob, I think you’ll be quite please with this grinder.

One month into using this manual burr grinder and we are very happy. I was looking for one and didn’t know which one to buy, but I’m glad I bought this one.
Firstly, it arrived in a beautifully boxed package. It was a very simple assembly of the components. And of course instructions were clear and helpful for getting your grinder setup.
Aesthetically it is a beautiful grinder. The wooden handle is not only classy but also comfortable. The stainless steel body feels sleek and durable. I love being able to see the grinds in the glass basin on the bottom.
Ergonomically it is very effortless to turn the handle for grinding. Yay! I do want to mention that I must place my hand above the size dial to avoid accidentally changing the size while grinding. Hardly an inconvenience.
My grinds are perfectly consistent!!!!! I had an electric burr grinder before that does not live up this one. What a wonderful thing to have consistent grinds. Additionally you can fine tune grind size by adjusting the nut in the grinder.
I feel this grinder will last a very long time. It is well constructed and durable while being beautiful and sleek. And the price is very Goldie Locks … just right!
And almost forgot, it’s so quiet. Makes the morning coffee ritual more peaceful 🙂
