Admittedly, making cold brew isn’t that hard already, but this thing makes it even more convenient. I just fill the inner insert with my grounds, add 1500 grams of water and let it sit for 12-24 hours. Then I removed the insert and pop it in the fridge. I have coffee for the whole week.

I love it, once you realize you need to shake it after the top has been firmly attached you will get the right strength coffee. One of the best lids since it keeps the coffee grounds out but is still easy to open to pour.

I love the cold brew I get from this product however it takes forever to fill the container with water because it has to filter through the coffee grounds. So you have to wait for it to settle in between pours. It usually takes us about 30 mins to fill it completely. Then you have to wait at least another 12 hours to drink it. The pitcher usually only lasts me a few days before I have to do the whole process again. I wish it was a little easier to use, but it’s not the fault of the manufacturer.

I took away one star for 2 slightly annoying issues:
•The design does not allow for all the coffee to get wet when using the maximum amount of coffee grounds plus the maximum amount of water as suggested by the manufacturer. The top inch-and-a-half of grounds was still dry after sitting upright for 24 hours in the fridge. I think a solution for this problem would be to lay the pot on its side while brewing.
•The pitcher has a threaded leak-proof handle that does not seat centered in the middle of the pitcher when tightened. Looking at the side the handle is slightly off-center which make it pour weird.
Other than my 2 issues, it is a nice pitcher that makes great coffee!

After using the pitcher several times since its delivery, I have concluded that the ONLY way for ALL the coffee grounds to be exposed to water while brewing is IF the pitcher is laying o its side the entire time while brewing. To reiterate again, the problem is when the maximum amount of coffee grounds is being used with the maximum amount of water as per the manufacturer’s printed instructions.

Surprised that I like this so much.
Plastic carafe was a concern but I see how that is a smart decision… glass is easier to break and heavier so plastic is a great choice. I know from prior experience that Mueller stands behind their products so I am not worried about durability of plastic.
Cold brew coffee made in this tastes great.
This would be even better if there was a lid on tip of the infuser so you can push it down into the water filled carafe.

I wanted this to replace the Takeya we all use and I loved the form factor and build quality. The reservoir is that softer but bulletproof Tritan stuff. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get a really strong brew out of it, even after 48 hours, and it’s not leakproof like the Takeya so you can’t even put it on its side. I desperately wanted to replace the Takeya because I found it big and hated the laying on the side, but unfortunately the Mueller fails in its actual core function.

I’m kinda upset I didn’t purchase this product WAYYY before now because I’m not a fan of hot coffee and that’s all I was able to make before I got this ???? upon arrival, clean all the parts with soap and water, grab some coarse coffee grounds and it says to add 15 teaspoons but I found 9 works better for me and saves a lot more grounds I guess it depends how strong you like your coffee ! Then just slowly add cold water and throw it in the fridge. Very easy to assemble, seal is air tight to keep coffee fresh for 2 weeks in the fridge, just overall better than anything ???? my expectations were exceeded that’s for sure. 11/10 would recommend

I’ve had this for a couple of month now and I love it! Easy to use and clean! The part of the lid with the handle does leak when shaking a tiny bit but that’s after washing it in the dishwasher multiple times and it doesn’t leak when you pour the coffee so I don’t mind! It says to wait 24 hours for best flavor but we noticed you have to give it about 36 hours so it’s not watery
