Update: After using this quite a few times, I would recommend this product. Yes, most of the ice melts before it’s done brewing, but the cup is very insulated for a plastic cup and keeps the drink cold for a long time. I will be keeping it after all. It does a good job for the money.
Original: I was a little skeptical, but this got great reviews and Mr. Coffee is a great name so I tried it. Machine is nice enough. Easy instructions and easy to use. However, I love my iced coffee full of ice and freezing cold. I’m not sure what kind of ice other reviewers are using, but I used big ice cubes from my fridge maker and filled the tumbler. By the time the coffee was done brewing over it, ALL the ice was melted. I was a bit saddened by this. I would say the drink is definitely cold, but I’m not sure I like the fact that there’s no ice left. Not sure I’ll be keeping this.

For an avid iced coffee drinker, I can not recommend this enough. It is so easy to use and takes less than 5 minutes to make a great glass of iced coffee.

This is a great iced coffee maker. It works like a charm and is a great bargain. The cup that comes with it is probably worth the whole price I paid for this. I don’t know why some people say all of their ice melts, I think they may be using very small ice cubes. I use slightly less than the recommended amount of coffee grounds and it’s strong enough for me. There is still plenty of ice left after brewing and you can take your time enjoying a tasty iced coffee without all the ice melting before you’re done.

If you love iced coffee and don’t wanna leave your house to wait in line at dutch bros for a hour everyday you should buy this right now! Super easy to use and makes an iced coffee in just a few minutes. It leaves room at the top of the tumbler for you to add your favorite coffee creamers and syrups. I use a scoop and a half of the black rifle coffee med roast and it comes out perfect, love the smell of coffee in the morning.

This is a decent coffee maker but for the price you’ve got to be realistic. So for all the wishful thinkers (like I was), no, the coffee does not magically come out cold. It’s not brewed quit as hot as a normal coffee maker but it’s definitely warm and will melt most of the ice if you follow the directions they provide. I recommend doing this instead:
– brew the coffee as directed but omit putting ice in the cup
– leave it to sit until it reaches room temperature or put it in the fridge if you need it quicker
– add ice (it only fills the cup half way so you shouldn’t get splashed)
So yes, it does make iced coffee, it’s just not as instant as advertised but the filter and cup are pretty good quality, so I am happy with it and will continue using it 🙂
