Grinding your own whole spices is such a great difference in flavor. This grinder cleans up well and depending how coarse you want is at the amount of time you grind. I love coarse pepper corns and whole cumin seeds. My coffee grinder is only for coffee so this little machine works perfectly for me.

I received this product just this week but I have used it more than thrice already. I pureed some onions, some tomatoes, ginger and garlic in it Successfully, quickly and without any mess. I also tried grinding some raw american rice in it. It did not turn into surper fine powder but it was not bad either. The machine has a cover that fits snugly to the grinder compartment before you put on the outer cover, so nothing came out or made a mess in my experience of grinding/ puréeing dry/wet ingredients. The best thing is that the container is washable so you can remove odors and use the same container for processing various ingredients.
I can’t say anything about longevity of the motor or any other parts yet, as I have used it just for a week but so far so good. If it passes the longevity test then it can certainly be called one of the best machines of it’s kind for this price. That’s why I gave only 4 stars.

Pour moudre les graines, café, épices, herbes ce moulin est très efficace et ce qui ne gâche rien très facile à nettoyer.
La qualité du produit est manifeste.
J’espère que sa fiabilité, sera à la hauteur comme les autres acheteurs le soulignent également.
Un petit bémol toutefois : j’aurais aimé disposer du manuel utilisateur en pdf… c’est tellement plus agréable à consulter une notice sur une tablette que de prendre une loupe pour lire sur le timbre poste où il est reproduit…

I actually got this to grind small batches of nuts into nut butters for my hamster. Commercial peanut butters, even the ‘natural’ ones, have many additives that are harmful to animals, so I wanted to make my own. I tried using a full sized blender, but that didn’t work very well. I got this coffee grinder to use only for nut butters, so I cannot speak to how it works for other grindables. Here are my experiences with this grinder used for that purpose.
Pros:
-Beautiful and sleek looking design that I wouldn’t mind leaving on the counter if necessary
-Easy to clean (after getting oily from the peanut butter, I filled the inside portion with hot water and soap to let it soak. The oils came off easily after that!)
-The blades make quick work of peanuts, but I am sure they would work well for coffee beans as well
-There is a compartment on the bottom that you can push the cord back into the base of the unit to avoid stray wires all over the place
-It comes with the little scoop/brush combo tool. The brush part worked well for brushing the crumbly nuts from under the blades, so I appreciated that. The scoop is nice for getting uniformed amounts of whatever you are grinding as well.
-I ended up with a nice and slightly chunky bit of peanut butter! I tried a bit and it is very simple, pure, and straight up peanuty goodness. My hamster absolutely loves it too, so this thing will probably be used quite often!
Cons:
-It does smell a bit like burning electronics if you use it too long, but it is meant to be pulsed several times. Let it rest, and it works fine! (if using for something like peanut butter, I would suggest pulsing until it is a powder, refrigerating until cold, then pulsing until creamy)
-I kinda don’t like the area that houses the cord because I would like to push it ALL the way in every time, but it doesn’t seem to do that so well. It would almost be better if there was just an indented portion on the bottom that allowed the cord to be wrapped around the unit and clipped in – this is purely a personal preference though and entirely unrelated to the functionality of the unit

Se desmonta la parte superior y es fácil de limpiar. Comparado con otros dos modelos de otras marcas que he probado, es el que menos ruido hace y mejor muele, aunque es un poco mas caro.

I am so happy I bought this. I had the Krups before and this is 10 times better. It is quieter than my old one and I absolutely love that I can grind a few days worth of coffee and leave it in the grinding cup because there’s a tight lid to keep it fresher. Also love that I can easily wash the cup separately and don’t have to take the entire unit to the sink.

I REALLY like this spice grinder but over time, the cup begins to seize. It appears a gap forms between the inside blades and outside rotor. (It cannot be tightened.) It becomes completely unusable if you are trying to grind sugar.
Hopefully I can order a replacement cup from the company but it’s disappointing if that I have to. It does a fantastic job grinding spices, salt and sugar to a fine powder but the fatal flaw in the cup design results in a short lifespan.

Si on devait lui trouver un défaut ce serait l’aspect conception de la sécurité. En effet on doit placer le capot servant à déclencher la mise en marche sur la machine. Apres exécution on doit la retirer pour accéder, normal c’est fait pour… oui mais ce capot devient encombrant. On ne sait jamais où le poser, de plus il est lisse et en polycarbonate et on a tout le temps peur qu’il tombe parterre et qu’il se casse.
Du coup pour ranger l’appareil, on le pose sur la machine mais rien ne le tient fixé, donc bim il finit toujours par tomber… grrrr !
A moins d’avoir un endroit fixe pour poser l’appareil et ne plus y touché, le rangement est trop galère.
Certes, la sécurité doit être importante pour éviter d’y laissé un doigt, mais franchement elle n’a pas été conçue pour être pratique.
J’hésite même à lui enlever une étoile supplémentaire mais comme le but est de moudre et qu’il le fait bien, j’en reste là .

Facilité d’utilisation et de nettoyage. Le petit schéma permet une mouture adapté à votre café. Seul petit reproche, l’emplacement du cordon d’alimentation n’est pas très pratique, d’où pas de cinquième étoile. Livraison parfaite.
