We are using this product for years. It still grinds like the first time. It does not show any old age traces yet.

The new style is awkward due to the black piece over the clear top. I bought it for my daughter and used it daily for a week and was not satisfied with the grind. Hope my older one at home lasts awhile because I will not replace it with this model.

My last kitchen-aid grinder lasted 35 years. It finally stopped when the plastic tips that push the metal pegs down to engage the motor finally wore down. This one is a solid grinder and I expect it to be the last one I’ll need.

I liked the grinder, but it lasted less than a year and leaked spices to the mechanical area. Every time I pressed down to grind, it leaked out from the top because it didn’t seal well. Was worse when adding liquids. It was great with grinding, but it was just poorly designed and made a mess. From the design side it could possibly be fixed with a small cap or a delay on the grinding start, but it wasn’t well thought out. Other than that it was easy to clean and did it’s job well the short time it lasted.
