I thought I could save a little money with this grinder since most good espresso grinders are over $200, but unfortunately it doesn’t do great with anything fine like espresso.

Grind isn’t all that even. Good enough for me though. Somebody,(ME??), should invent a electric slow grinder. Maybe double step to get it to the right consistency. Let me think about it.

The machine works well. The only problem I have with it is it’s very messy. I constantly have coffee grinds all over that I have to wipe up. I bought this because I thought it would be easier to have all my beans in a hopper and just grind a bunch. It grinds them great but when you pull the bottom part out that catches the grinds it dumps all over. When you pull the cap off the bottom they dump all over. I have an old Mr.coffee grinder that you load,grind and dump into the pot that is much less messy and most of the time not easy at all. I will be packing this machine up and keeping for emergency because the last thing I need with a crazy schedule is another thing to clean up after all the time.

This was a decent price for a grinder. It has same characteristics of other flat burr grinders I have owned. First, it is very loud. Also is made a mess as the ground transfer sideways through the container so if the filling container is not press close by it there will be leaks. Lastly, I did not find the ground were very fine for the setting I used. Returned it for conical grinder which I prefer much better.
