10/10! For a small, at home grinder this thing is awesome! I had a Cuisinart for a while when the plastic container chipped. I decided I didn’t really like it anyway and was going to get a new one. Thought I would try this one and it is so quick! I grind coffee for a cold brew, and this is so much faster than the other one, saving me time.

My first burr grinder so maybe there is a learning curve, but say there is not a huge difference between the largest and smallest settings. Say smallest is 1 and largest as 10, then a setting of one does yield powder, but once you get past 2 or 3 there’s not much difference. What you see here would be 10. One tip, make sure the output cup is fully in place or you get a big mess…oops.
Update: One thing I’m very very impressed with is the company that sells these. They immediately reached out to me to make things right. Honestly, I’ve never seen a company this proactively concerned. Changing my review to 4 stars due to the awesome company.

The first one I bought didn’t work, so I just sent it back. I’m sure I could have unscrewed the panel and probably fixed a loose water line but returns are easier. It wouldn’t pump any water from the tank. The second one arrived and works great, one small problem with the lid on the water container is broke but the lid just sits there so it still does that but it’s not attached.
The quality control issues aside, this makes an excellent Macchiato. Better than Dunkin. I’m so happy and with the low price, it will pay for itself in 6 months of making our own Macchiatos. My partner moaned that it wouldn’t be the same, but when it arrived and I made him one, he was right…it’s not the same…he said IT WAS BETTER. I win!!!!

It’s noisy, but most burr grinders are. Makes a very nice grind for use with a french press. So far, I like it a lot.

Works well but it also doesn’t seal completely where the coffee goes once ground so there is always cleanup. Also would have been nice to get a brush or something for cleaning. Leaves kind of a mess.
