Usage
To use the Keurig Brewer Cleanse Kit, follow these simple steps:
- Descaling Solution:
- Empty the water reservoir of your coffee maker.
- Pour the entire bottle of descaling solution into the reservoir.
- Fill the rest of the reservoir with fresh water until the MAX fill line.
- Place a large mug or container on the drip tray to collect the solution.
- Start the brew cycle without inserting a K-Cup pod. Use the largest cup size setting.
- Repeat the brew cycle until the “Add Water” indicator lights up.
- Let the coffee maker sit for 30 minutes to allow the solution to work.
- Discard the remaining solution from the reservoir and thoroughly rinse it.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh water and repeat the brew cycle without a K-Cup pod to rinse the machine.
- Rinse Pods:
- Insert a rinse pod into the pod holder, just like you would with a regular K-Cup pod.
- Close the brewer handle and select a brew size.
- Start the brew cycle and let the rinse pod clean the pod holder and exit needle.
- Dispose of the used rinse pod after use.

I needed to clean and descale my brewer and this was a good price and came with many cleaning pods. It works better than the generics and I’m usually happy with generic products but this was the real deal and worked wonderfully. Make sure you actually Google how to descale for your specific brewer model rather than what the packaging says. Your descale light might never go off if you don’t.

I didn’t realize descaling and rinsing my Keurig was a thing for the first 2 years I had it, so WOW it made a difference. Rinse pods are great to use in between descaling or if you are changing from coffee to something different like hot chocolate and really don’t want any leftover coffee taste. Definite recommend.

it cleans good, but it’s complicated depending on the Keurig device. It took 3 refills of water to get the solution out the Keurig, but it cleaned well!
