We have a well so our water is hard, which can cause our Keurig to clog up-but this descaling solution helps a TON. We use it whenever the Keurig alerts us too and then we change the filter every 2 months. To change the filter, you just soak it in water for 5 minutes, rinse it off for 60 seconds and pop it into the Keurig! Super easy! Descaling is also very easy, just is time consuming as after you descale, you let the machine sit for 30 minutes and then run water through the machine several times. Takes a bit, but super easy to do while working on other things!

I have a Keurig K Supreme Plus coffee maker. I followed the instructions that came with the kit and they don’t work on this coffee maker. It may do the descaling but the light never went out. Dug up the manual that came with the coffee maker and followed these instructions to descale. These instructions worked. If you have the instructions that came with your coffee maker I suggest you use these. Keurig could help by making this clear with the kit.

Even if you have a K-cup coffee maker — you really need to clean the scale that builds up. This product does just that and extends the life of your coffee maker. I highly recommend this.

Good price for all you get. BUT! the directions on the inside of the label are not complete. Google, “How to turn of the descaling light.” before you start. I didn’t and could not get the light off. Ended up redoing the descaling process from the beginning (12 cups x 2 = 24 cups!) and it still would not go off. Suggestions were BEFORE you start to press (I think) the 10 & 12 oz. buttons at the same time and hold so many seconds. Of course, I did not “read” anything on Google first, so I don’t know if that would have helped getting the light off. Another suggestion was to unplug the Keurig and then plug in again. Another said to hold the 8 & 10 oz. buttons for the descale light to go off. The directions on the bottle said it would take about 45 minutes. Took me over two hours. 🙁 Suggest also having more than one cup to let the 12 oz. solution drain into. The cup gets REALLY HOT. Good Luck!

I was given a Kuerig coffee maker as a present. As with previous coffee makers, I ran water with vinegar through it to clean it. However, I highly recommend this cleaning kit. I started getting coffee grounds in my coffee. I ran the vinegar and water mixture through several times. It didn’t seem to work, so I looked online, as to how to clean my coffee maker. This product was highly recommended, and rightfully so. Once I used it to clean my coffee maker, it started working perfectly again and continues to do so. It does take some time to complete the cleaning process using this kit. However, it is well worth it! Just follow the instructions, most especially the amount of water, that you run through the coffee maker to clean it. My recollection is it is 12 containers of water. If you don’t run this much through your coffee maker, your coffee will taste awful., until you complete the correct process. Once completed according to the directions, your coffee will taste like it always has. You can purchase this product at Target, but my recollection is that Amazon is cheaper, and you get the exact same product. I had just not re-ordered, when my coffee maker needed cleaning right away, so I did purchase one time at Target. However, I don’t think you can beat Amazon pricing.

The descaler worked very well. I’m waiting the 30 minutes to do the rinse right now. My only complaint is the lack of instructions! Jeez! There are pods, water filters, and the descaling solution in the box and if you’re like me you’re gonna need some guidance. So, my suggestion is to Google this before you start so you know you won’t waste your kit. I don’t think I’m going to have any use for the pods at all. It’s not really a 3 month kit lol! It’s a bottle of descaler if you have a keurig with a water reservoir like me and 2 water filters. The pods aren’t even for my type of keurig! So, they’re completely useless to me! Ugghhh! Maybe I know someone that will be able to use them idk! The water filter has nothing to connect it to my keurig by its just the filter part. No idea how to connect it! SEE WHAT I MEAN! I hate to buy something and then be lost because they don’t feel like telling you how to use it! Ridiculous! If it had instructions I would’ve given it 5 stars.
