Over all this coffee hits the 4stars mark except for 1 little detail. The k pods has always been a plastic cup not a filter. I was afraid if I put it in Keurig 2, the needle might make a big hole and cause a mess with coffee going everywhere. So I used a different coffee maker I know will use these. I hadn’t realized the type of pod when I ordered, my bad. I’ll try using it in my Keurig tomorrow. Then if it works fine I’ll be happy to order more. If not I’ll be happy I can use them in my other pot, and it won’t be wasted but I’ll double check which pods I’m buying next time.

I fell in love with Kona coffee while in Hawaii and while this isn’t 100% Kona, it’s really good.
Pros: It’s a lighter flavor, which I prefer, smooth coffee. Not bitter.
Cons: Pod not long enough to be punctured by lower spike in my Keurig Duo. I have to make the hole myself. Not a deal breaker but be careful or you’ll rip the pod. Now I use a cake tester to make the hole and it works.

I got sick and tired of a certain store deciding not to carry it anymore so I decided to check Amazon. I’m glad I did and will be getting it through them from now on.

Was better aroma than taste. Overall not bad, but not spectacular either

I love this coffee. I drink it every day because it’s that good. When I swim I use the pods and on the non swimming days I use the ground coffee. The dark roast is smooth and not acidic. It is absolutely worth the price.

I absolutely love this coffee. If you’ve ever been to Kauai, and I highly recommend it, you’ll know this brand well. They’re a smaller operation with a local farming kind of feel.
The coffee itself has a wonderful flavour. The pods are smaller than standard K-Cups, but still pack in a full size cup. You have to wonder why the standard K-Cups have so much waste. Inside the box, they’re packed in a sealed, recloseable foil packet to help preserve the freshness.

I have always enjoyed the coffee in HI whenever I visited there. It has just always been so good and rich in flavor. This product brings me back to the Islands. I have ordered a couple flavors, and both have been a pleasant surprise. I haven’t bought a ground coffee in some time (other than this brand) or Keurig cups that had such great flavor. They have been in business for some time, so they know their stuff.
When I first ordered it, I assumed it probably would be a bit of a disappointment, as it’s actually made in HI (unlike a number of other “Kona” coffees out there) and I’m on the other side of the continent. I thought it may lose some of its potency. Nope!
Very well packaged, with eight K-cups in three bags. Each bag is resealable, just like a regular ground coffee bag. They retain their flavor for some time; I don’t make “regular” hot coffee as often these days, as I am pretty much a Cold Brew regular now, so K-cups last me awhile.
BTW…if the flavor you want is not available in K-Cups and you have a Keurig, consider getting a pod adapter. Then you can buy the regular ground coffee, put it in the adapter and use it in your Keurig.
I really appreciate that they have gone “green” with the coffee container, and one does not have to deal with the regular plastic K-cups. Some of those are recyclable, some are not.

This is one of the best dark roast coffee in the pod line. Full rich flavour. I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes dark roasts. The cost may be a bit more than other coffees but trust me, it’s well worth it.

Misleading on thinking is was actually Kona beans. I did not read it thoroughly. My mistake. Would order again though , it was good coffee.

I love this coffee and have it on auto-subscribe. However, we just purchased a new Keurig and the latest model punctures the K-cup with 5 prongs (4 around the rim and 1 in the middle) instead of just 1 in the middle (allegedly brews better). What we notice with the shape of these K-cups is; the prongs around the rim press the top of the K-cup down instead of piercing it, producing no coffee and a wasted K-cup. It’s pretty much 50:50 if the K-cup will puncture or not. Otherwise I use those grounds in one of those reusable K-cup adapters (which also don’t fit this Keurig since they have a hole in the middle) and use it on my work Keurig.

First, the coffee – I am a coffee snob; not for taste but for how it makes me feel.
Caffeine and I are not the best of friends; some make me nauseous and give me a headache so I am very particular.
This, luckily, tastes good and doesn’t give me that “off” feeling.
Buying the large pack of 24 isn’t too pricey either.
But – buyer beware – there are two packs of 12 in the box.
I was used to buying the 12-pod pack and so when I took out the foil bag, I had forgotten there shoudl have been 24 and was ready to toss the box when I happened to notice the second pack.

I’m actually super down with the flavor of this pod. I haven’t had a cup of coffee that had the amount of flavor in it since I was in Amsterdam. I’m from the US and we are so used to crappy flavor, fake additives, and mediocre quality. This pod kinda blew my mind. I made a cup when I got home from work. The color was rich, it mixed like a barista made cup with my 1/2 and 1/2 creamer, and it was a pure taste on my lips. The packaging is kinda weird as it’s like a mesh netting which holds the pod together. The needle doesn’t pierce the pod so no grinds in my cup. That kinda threw me off, but it appears to be AMAZING! It comes in a really tiny box, and I was thinking Wtf? Inside the box it’s in a sealed bag which you can reseal. I’m sold on this after one cup.
