J’adore l’odeur et le goût de ce café

I am a fan a Kenya AA and this roast in simply delicious very good quality beans, same price as Costco Jamaica blue mountain but 2 times the quality so wont taste harsh extra bitter and smoky. If u wanna pay for quality not a cool trendy packaging.

I used to buy the 2-lb bags of Fresh Roasted Brazil Cerrado whole beans and I like it. Its flavor and taste was about the same as Illy’s and cheaper. After almost a year I decided to try this seller’s 5-lb bad of ground Brazil Cerrado coffee. It was even cheaper. What a mistake! It has absolutely no aroma and tastes really flat. I suspect that there is more than coffee in the ground up mixture. I now buy Illy beans again.
DON’T BUY GROUND COFFEE FROM THIS SELLER.

Very good coffee

I bought this coffee on a whim for my partner. He has tried many, and is particular about his favorites, and fortunately this Guatemalan Huehuetenango coffee has become one of them. The flavor has a lot of depth and is very fresh. Highly recommend!

I lived in San Marcus de Tarrazu where they grow this coffee. It’s truly my favorite coffee. It’s mountain grown and picked by hand. I recommend it.

This is lovely coffee. The whole beans which I received have a pleasant hint of vanilla, just out of the bag, and the brewed coffee is something like velvet. Absolutely no edge or rough after taste.
My only problem with this coffee item is that it is labeled as “Fresh Roasted” and the label has just a
use by/expiration date. I expected an actual “roasting date”. Deducted one star, for this reason.
Very wonderful coffee beans, at any rate.

Fabulous coffee and for cappuccino

I’ve been buying the Guatemalan Huehuetenango from the Fresh Roasted Coffee company for a couple years. I try other brands and verities, but always come back to the Guatemalan Huehuetenango from this company.
My last delivery got lost on delivery. After a couple days I messaged them and they immediately shipped another bag, even though it wasn’t their fault.
After 4 or 5 days, they found my lost delivery and brought it to my door.
Anyway, they are a great company and sell the best coffee from around the world.

(First, kudos for this having a good zip lock closure. I would have hated having one of that fold-over tie-downs for a bag of this size!)
I needed something in this size and at this price to supplement my more expensive Subscription. This coffee is decent – not outrageously good but not bad at all. I think the trick is in getting the right water-to-coffee ratio – which is true of all coffee.
For a dark roast Guatemalan coffee, I am surprised at how mild this is. It seems much more like a medium roast. I don’t get nearly as much from the flavor notes mentioned. I do get a little bit of the spices but very, very little of the dark chocolate. This gets better tasting if I brew it stronger but I still am not getting the chocolate. That’s really disappointing. I’ve been drinking Jim’s Sweet Love and THAT taste like what this is described as.
This is not my favorite coffee but only because I do like such a dark roasted flavor. For someone who likes a medium roast, I think this might be good as an affordable buy. I don’t mind having it around to finish off but I probably won’t buy anymore. I will look for another dark roast from the brand.

I love Costa Rican coffee, especially Tarrazu. This coffee is really up there in flavor and down there in price. There is no bitterness even with such rich flavor.
Being a five pound bag I wouldn’t buy this unless you drink a lot of coffee or have a vacuum pack system to divide into smaller packages.
This package is ground to be used in a filter or French Press coffee maker. If you use it in an espresso machine I would put it through the grinder for a finer grind and you will make that coffee go further with an even richer taste.

Very good roast thanks to fresh roasted. Pretty rare to find Dark Cerrado beans in NA because almost all the production is bought and exported by a German with a og reputation.
