I have a 28 year old Braun grinder that still works great, but wanted another to grind spices. We are using the Braun now for spices. Difficult finding a replacement, as so many grinders are very big to grind huge amounts or they are are part of a huge coffee machine. Love this compact size. It keeps your counter space free in the coffee corner. It’s perfect for our 3 cups of pour- over coffee in the morning, but the grinder can take more or less . Someone said it’s not easy to clean, but of course the powdery part of the grind would stick to any surface. It’s a minuscule amount, but if there is a larger amount, take the end of a chopstick to disturb it so it pours out. For any powdery part left, you can use your finger or a dry cloth and sweep it out if you want. I sometimes grind a four-cup portion for one afternoon cup leaving the rest in the grinder with the top on for next morning.
