I love the price and quality of this coffee maker. Easy to use right out of the box. I can get a cup of coffee while it is still brewing and program to start easily. I had a fancy, expensive coffee maker before this and it didn’t even last 3 years. This coffee tastes better. Good purchase.

Keeps my coffee warmer than the rest of the ones I’ve used. Also, make sure you keep the warmer plate dry as they can start getting rusted and warmer will start working less. This one has not rusted as I learned from others. Make sure you put the container perfectly on the heater. If it’s not on there flat, you will love cleaning the mess. Learn from my mistakes

Nice coffeemaker, makes a pot in about 14 minutes. Does what it’s supposed to. The only problem I had is that the coffee tasted like plastic first few days. Day one I ran just water through it thinking that was enough. Tasted like plastic. I had to throw the coffee out. I then ran 2 coffeepots full of vinegar through it and 2 coffeepots of water. It still had a slight taste of plastic until day 4 when the taste of plastic was gone. Now, no problem.

The coffee from this machine tastes like plastic. I have tried putting vinegar and water thru it, making many pots of coffee and even programming it to brew automatically. I cannot get rid of the horrible plastic taste. I called Black and Decker and their solution was just to return the product. Since I have seen this issue all over the internet, I would have thought that they would have made changes to the plastic they use to make this machine. I will no doubt be returning it.
