I am satisfied with this 5 cup coffee maker. It makes great coffee, the only thing I am not fully pleased about is the glass pot, the spout on the pot is a bit small and when you pour the coffee it leaks. You have to pour slow or you will have drips to wipe up. Other than that it is a good coffee maker, wish it made the coffee a bit hotter, since I like a hot cup of coffee first cup I don’t find it hot enough, so I microwave it for an additional 30 sec., but otherwise it does the job and I would purchase it again.

I like this because it’s small. It makes enough coffee for just me. What I don’t like, and it’s probably my own fault for not reading the description, is that it doesn’t automatically turn off. I’ve gone away and realized I didn’t turn it off.

Perfect for my needs, makes 2 big cups of good coffee. I use filtered water since mine is so hard, and a good brand of coffee. I find this more economical than the single cup varieties. They last about 3 years. No frills, but I don’t need them.

We were soooo disappointed when out $120-worth, bells-and-whistles coffee machine died on us after less than two months. We settled on the cheapest, simplest machine available just to tie us over while our warranty on the super-duper “latest technology” wonder was being processed. Guess what… Our warranty WAS processed over a month ago, and they sent us a new machine, but we haven’t even opened the box. Because this little thing works perfectly and does exactly what we need. I’s simple to handle and clean, and the coffee is delicious. Yeah, so you can’t program it, it doesn’t beep when it’s done, and there’s no built-in self-cleaning feature or fancy-schmancy filters, but so what. Sometimes, simplest is best.

Ok, I made a mistake, did not read well enough and thought this would be a 12 cup jug, it’s 5, but there are only 2 of us so I am keeping it. I do miss the anti drip when you remove jug while it’s filling, just getting used to waiting for it to finish now. All in all it makes coffee, it looks ok and it works well. I don’t need more than that.

It fits nicely in our cabinet shelves and it makes coffee super fast. My other coffeemaker takes about 5-10mins to use the water I fill up to the 5 cup mark. This coffeemaker takes about 2-3mins

After a week of 6 badly functioning coffee makers, I most happily stumbled upon this perfect and simple coffee maker! Thank you for the lack of bells & whistles, because the bells & whistles are what make the coffee makers not work. This is a back to basics coffee maker, and every aspect works as it should. It is also designed to be both left and right handed, ability to pour water into either side into the ample tanker opening, and the water level window is both front facing and on the right side, always to be seen. I am right handed, but prefer a left-handed coffee maker. And thank heavens for the durable glass carafe. Please never discontinue this coffee maker design! — Update, the spout on this carafe works perfectly, does not drip or spill, easy to pour.
