Arrived in excellent shape. Quick delivery. Largest I’ve ever owned, and happy it was available. Would that the gasket, and filter were easy to find for this big pot, but I will continue to search. The gasket is available (1 for 9. Dollars), but the metal filter is not. Nevertheless, happy with this pot!

Most obviously, this pot is huge. The quality of the piece is excellent with one exception. I should note this is my first Moka Pot, so I could be wrong, but the basket that holds the grounds with a tube coming off the bottom has an angle that does not look correct. I would assume it should be straight. It does not seem to affect the performance, but none the less, I don’t believe it is correct. Everything else looks perfect.
One pot nets me three large iced americanos.

We had the best coffee in the world while out there camping. We shared with other campers and blew everyone’s minds.
You do have to take your time with it. You need to watch it to make sure you don’t over cook your coffee and it take take a small while for it to finish its batch. (I did get the largest size). Use a little bit of water on the outside of the base to stop the pot when it’s done.

‘We love our Bialetti Moka Pot, and we were recently looking to replace our old one. This one is the standard of quality, but it was WAY too large for just a couple, so we returned it after a brief inspection.
If you want 3 mugs of coffee per brew this is the pot for you- and you may never want Starbucks coffee again!
Amazon note- Look out for those free Prime returns- they charged us shipping on this return, even though we were twice told it would be free, First that the shipping would be waived, and then it would be refunded since we are over 80 miles from a UPS Store. Als ich im letzten Urlaub eine Bialetti ausgeborgt hatte, war ich total begeistert und musste einfach selbst eine für unsere Urlaube haben! 😁 Und nachdem mir die Standard-Kanne etwas zu klein war, dachte ich mir, ich nehme gleich mal die XXL Version ✌🏻👌🏻😁
Zunächst mal: das Teil ist groß 😱 wie so ein kleines neugeborenes Baby wenn du die Bialetti im Arm hältst.
Die Wassermenge bis zum Ventil beträgt 900ml, herauskommen tut 700ml und 100ml bleiben im Behälter. Also perfekt, wenn man mit mehreren Leuten zusammen sitzt.
Der Kaffee war in nicht mal 5min fertig – jedoch habe ich bei dem Test den Wasserbehälter bereits mit heißem Wasser gefüllt, damit der Kaffee nicht bitter wird und es schneller geht.
Achtung: man muss die Kanne mit etwas Kraft zusammenschrauben, da sonst kein Druck aufgebaut werden kann. Wahrscheinlich ist das durch die neue Dichtung der Fall aber ab dem zweiten Versuch ging alles wunderbar! Am besten ist es, wenn man es vorher mal selbst lediglich mit Wasser und ohne Kaffee versucht um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen!
Durch die Größe benötigt man dafür schon sehr große Hände. Da wäre evtl eine stabilere Ausführung vom Griff und eine Art Hilfsgriff am unteren Behälter überlegenswert aber wie es bei Traditionsunternehmen halt so ist, wird hier ws nichts mehr geändert werden 🙈
Durch das Alu wird sehr schnell ein Druck aufgebaut aber paßt auf, dass ihr euch nicht an der Kanne verbrennt: Alu ist ein mega Wärmeleiter, sodass die Kanne selbst auch sehr heiß werden kann!! Nur am Griff angreifen!!

Aber ganz ehrlich? Der einzige gemahlene Kaffee, den ich leider an diesem Tag zuhause hatte, war ein Amiplörrenpulver, welche zwar in der Amimaschine damals ganz gut geschmeckt hat aber hier drinnen einfach grauenhaft war! 🙈🙈🤷🏻♂️🤣
Ich glaube, ich besorge da lieber einen guten und passenden Kaffee aber ich muss sagen:
Die Bialetti funktioniert wahnsinnig gut! 👌🏻 Und Kaffee machen geht damit echt schnell und macht irgendwie total Spaß 👌🏻🙂😁
Schade ist eigentlich nur, dass man hier nicht gleich ein Reserveset mit Filter und Dichtung mit in den Karton gibt. Über den Bialetti Shop bekommt man diese Sachen zwar bestellen aber ganz ehrlich: Diese 5 Euro wären auch schon wurscht 🤷🏻♂️ deshalb gibt es 1 Punkt abgezogen… Und weil sie die Schraube vom Deckelknopf bereits nach dem 2en Aufheizen gelockert hat. Hier hat man wohl an einer Schraubensicherung gespart!

This an authentic Bialetti Moka pot and it is huge. It is the perfect size for espressos for a large group of people. Don’t put it in the dishwasher; I ruined a previous Bialetti’s beautiful finish by doing that in the past.
