I have ordered the Just Bright-Light Roast whole bean coffee about 2-3 times a month now for about a year and I have satisfied every time with this brand. I blend the beans and use a pour over method to produce the best results. The roast level may appear to be a little darker on the medium side but the oil level from the beans is barely visible indicating a good roasting level control. It has a very smooth finish and the flavor is wonderfully nutty. The final good touch is that its cheaper than most name brands yet packs an equal or more delicious flavor.

I love donut shop style coffee and decided to give AmazonFresh a try. Very reasonably priced, grinds nice and makes a super smooth cup of coffee. The only downside is that my wife thinks I should be bringing her donuts to go with it every time I make it. According to her, that’s why it says donut on the label.

If you like your coffee light, bright and somewhat acidic, you will like this. I love trying new coffees and I use light beans to balance my brew if I have a roast that is too dark. This was inexpensive so I thought I would try it. It is not my favorite light roast. I much prefer the Starbucks Veranda. You might like it

Really good coffee at quite a decent price – I like it better than there “Donut” version. Would have given it 5 stars but I am still looking for the perfect coffee for my palette 😉

I definitely have a bag of dark beans. They are shiny. I ground it up and brewed it, but it is incredibly smooth and mild. It definitely has a great flavor to it, though. It’s just that if you don’t have very good taste sensation or just have to have that bold, burnt, nutty, charcoal flavor…you just are not going to get it from this bag of beans.
I bought this bag and I also bought a bag of the Donut shop medium roast. Curiously enough, I would switch the names. The donut shop coffee is also mild and smooth, but has more of a dark roast nuttiness than the dark roast blend. And yet, they are both very dark shiny beans.
Someone was talking about these beans ruining their grinders. I have an inexpensive Kaffe burr grinder, bought on Amazon this year, and was even able to grind both sets of beans at the finest powder setting with ease, so I don’t understand what happened for them.
Another thing I noticed. Several people talked about a chemical smell. I decided to pay particular attention when I opened the bags. Yes, there is a strange off smell, but neither brewed coffees carried that taste.
I am one of those people who can often guess secret ingredients so I want to pass this by you guys to see if someone else can pick up what I did. When you take in a long whiff, the ending part of the smell is peculiarly like jalapeno peppers! If you have any in your fridge or at least eat them and know what they smell like, give it a sniff with that in mind. Granted it’s not jalapeno overload but it certainly has a faint smell of…jalapeno peppers! I don’t get it.
Not sure what else to say…they are both surprisingly different than what you normally expect for the specific grinds, but I like all 3 roasts (light, medium, dark) so I am definitely okay with them. It’s just strange how they aren’t what they claim. But hey, like I said I can drink all 3 roasts so I am fine with buying it again. The price is right!

My daughter and I love coffee but don’t like the “burnt” taste of so many brands. She was suggested to try Peruvian blend by a friend, so I bought this one. We both love it! It is bold and smooth without the burnt taste.

In my 8th decade of drinking coffee and this product is amazing because it tastes like a premium bean, but at a bargain price. My taste runs to Starbucks French Roast, Bustelo Espresso, but not Dunkin — not even their dark roast. McDonalds has become my go to out of the house brew if I cannot find a Starbucks. I tried it because I tasted and enjoyed a Solimo k-cup and hope to stick with it barring any change in quality. FWIW: I make a galllon at a time in the NutriChef cold brew bottle, which I recommend highly. TY

So… inflation, gas prices, food prices, kids that are like money vacuums… Wife and I had to cut back on our gourmet coffee as part of our survival budget. Grabbed this on a total whim but it’s surprisingly good coffee ! The price point is wonderful and the beans were fresh. Have had multiple people comment on this coffee and were just as shocked when I showed them what it was. I wouldn’t consider myself a coffee snob, but I do like good coffee and this was a pleasant surprise.
