Our first time ordering this model. It’s sturdy, measure lines are clearly listed on both sides of the carafe, and “cooks” up in a minute. By the time I opened the blinds and curtains around our house, a cup is ready to pour. My only gripe is that the cord is super stiff so it makes moving the pot on the counter difficult. Nice purchase!

I had the now unavailable Basics one, and it started leaking – so this is a replacement after 3+ years heavy usage. Overall this is a great buy, Cost is on perfect for what you get and the coffee maker comes with a basket for your grounds which is easy to use and wash as well as it does brew fairly quickly.
The downsides of this maker are the cord could be roughly 8 to 10 inches longer and be warned that the coffee maker does NOT automatically cut off at any point. This means that if you forget to cut it off in the morning you will have nice hot burned coffee that evening when you return home. Overall this is a great product for the price I would personally like to see an automatic shut off after let’s say an hour or 2 just for safety reasons and a little bit longer of a power cord.

First thing I must say is that the coffee machine works great. I found that if you leave the machine on with 5 cups of coffee in the craft it seems like the l want to say water evaporates because the coffee gets really strong. I find it kinda weird how how fast it happens. But then I have no idea how hot the element that it sits on is. So Now my Problems with this machine. When ever I can l try to help our environment by seeing if it can be safety used again #1 when you buy something from Amazon they give you the brand new price then you have the option to save a few dollars if you want. I had decided to check out the product that was discounted. I saw 👀 a written review from Amazon basics on the coffee machine. Like New it said not in original box. I thought that’s fine l don’t need the box it might ( I’m not sure) have said scuffs on side for me no problem. I would save 2 or 3 dollars I figured save some money maybe keep something out of landfill right. There were a couple that were 10 dollars off but had scratches and scraps. I received my coffee machine and opened the box,pulled out the machine (which was packed very well and had the instructions on how to use and CLEAN the machine) I took 😳 1 look and thought who sends back a coffee machine that has dried coffee inside the craft. (It gets better) l removed the pot and stared at the heating element it wasn’t black it was a grayish white that I’m still trying to clean l then opened the lid there was so much calcium around the holes where the water comes out l just started to laugh. What a blooming mess just to save 3 dollars . Out came the vinegar and cloth and cleaned the inside of the machine. One more thing after cleaning the machine l had to have someone with better eye sight because it,looked to me like part of the plastic housing around the heating element was missing like they had chipped away on it. I understand Amazon will let a customer try out a product but whoever had this machine didn’t try it and say it’s just not going to work they used it 24/7 to get it into the state it was and Amazon was wrong to pass it on to me they should have returned it and got their money from them not me!!

Design is very ergonomic & lightweight. Price is very reasonable. Easy to pour water into the back. Uses a standard coffee filter if you don’t like the basket. It takes about one and a half minutes to brew a cup of coffee. If you want to grab a cup before it’s done, it always seems to drip some coffee. Space for carafe under basket is a little higher than standard.
