I’ve been using this machine daily for about a month now and it delivers a great cup of espresso. The drip coffee maker works well also. I just wish I could select a size. It only brews an 11 oz. size. Twice I had an issue where the machine would not turn on using the espresso button, but after looking online at others’ questions and answers, I discovered that I just needed to be sure the steam knob was completely in the “off” position. It’s working beautifully. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is customer service. My machine arrived without the scoop and the 1-cup filter. I contacted the seller and they promised to send them but I am still waiting. Fortunately, there was a delay in receiving the unit the first time I ordered it, so the seller refunded my money and I ordered it again. Ultimately, I received two machines. However, the second one arrived in a box that had obviously been opened and not re-packed very well (probably a used machine). On the bright side, the second unit did have the scoop and the 1-cup filter. I kept those items and offered to return the unit to the seller. They told me to keep it.

Without being overly technical about things, I’ll just say the coffee was/is good as long as it’s kept clean and the coffee and grind is “right”. Where this machine gets subtracted points is in the “quality” and “reliability” categories. Bought one machine and the espresso side broke within a few months. Something in the electronics failed. Replacement was sent out….with in a few months the drip coffee side had an electronic failure. I was offered a small fraction of the price of the machine refunded. That was not acceptable to me, I either wanted a full refund or a replacement machine. I simply did not hear back from anyone ever again. I believe over the course of a year I’ve sent three emails. I just sent out a fourth. We’ll see what happens from here….

I purchased this machine because it seemed easy to use and a good value for the money. I make 2-3 espressos a day and clean after every use. The machine has now stopped working, and no water comes out when I attempt to make espresso, although the drip side still works. I registered the machine upon receiving and contacted customer service via email 2 days ago with no response from them. I now have to purchase another machine but it won’t be from this company.
Update as of 9/2/19: I received an email from customer support asking for a screenshot of the order details; awaiting the next step from them.
Update 9/13/19: I received a replacement coffee maker yesterday and editing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Not really a bad product. It was a little confusing at first trying to understand the instructions written by someone not so familiar with the English language. But we’ve had this for 8 months and its still running pretty good. It does its job. I get really good shots of espresso. The foaming part of the machine works well. The drip coffee works well. The only minor problem was the coffee cup included. The black paint chipped away off the metal cup after only one wash in the dishwasher. Dont wash in dishwasher. Maybe it said that. Im not sure tho. Either way, not so bad. I think a 4 out of 5 is a good rank.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I need to pre-heat the cups so that the coffee is hot enough. Other than that, I really like this machine. I’ve had the cheaper kind where you put the water directly into the machine, and they get really scaly and gross. It was important to me to have a detachable, washable water reservoir, which this does have. And, I love that I can use my “fake” milk and it froths up great with the steamer. I wish the manufacturer had a larger filter to make “four” cups instead of “two.” I’m putting that in quotes, because you really need two cups worth of espresso to make one decent cup of latte. So a deeper filter would be a great option.

I have now had my Aicook Model CM6827 Coffeemaker/Espresso machine just a little over a month now & im quite happy with it so far, but there r a couple of design flaws that keep me from giving it a 5th star.
#1 the coffee/ Espresso does not get hot enough 4 me, i wind up putting it in the Microwave 4 15 sec.
#2 the reservoir is way 2 small 4 my liking, nitpicking ,but would like it 2 b bigger.
#3When making Espresso the vibration makes the cup move around making the espresso miss the cup.
But i have a FIX 4 THAT!!!!!!, i use a piece of cupboard rubber mating cut 2 size & placed on the drip tray, this completely stops the cup from moving around,is removable, washable.
#4 After brewing the drips takes way 2 long 2 stop , so i place a small cup under the espresso nozzel 2 keep things from getting 2 messy.
I have heard, read complaints about getting coffee/espresso all over the place because of leaking so far i have NOT had that problem, i think it happens because people r NOT cleaning the locking mechanism between the espresso holder & the machine.
I clean mine after each & every use , believe me there is a LOT of grounds up in there, also clean the rim of the shot holder as well making sure theres no grounds around the edge. that could prevent a Complete & CLOSED SEAL., i believe this is what is causing the messy pics i have seen .
People also ask if the machine will turn off by its self. IT WILL!!! 23 min of no use & it will shut down,i have now timed 3 times.
I hope this helps people.
