Over ten years ago my daughter worked at a Starbucks the specialty marked packages. for the Dec holiday would be removed the day after and they gave it to the help I opened my refrigerator and there were 3 or 4 bags of Starbucks coffee and started to make make coffee there were a few different ones they were all good and when I brewed the Sumatra blend oh boy I was sold makes a great cup of coffee!

I have been buying this coffee by subscription for a few years, and I have enjoyed it very much. However, the last 18 ounce bag that I received tasted horrible. I could not find an expiration date on the bag, but I suspect that it was outdated. I canceled my subscription.

I have tried many brands and types of coffee for my cold brew that I make at home and this is the BEST coffee for it. It’s not too “dark”/strong and makes the perfect flavor for cold brew. Also, some coffee have really strong smells that can be weird…not this one. Just add cream, syrup and/or sugar for a delicious drink!

When brewing a great cup of coffee is set up on a learning curve. Be consistent with measuring both coffee and water. Starbucks didn’t roast this too long or too hot so it does not taste burnt or bitter.
