This is my favourite coffee. And I was willing to pay $40 for it. Upon receiving I realized the best before date was about 6 weeks out. Clearly not new coffee. I kept it as I would have it used by that time. But this is disappointing. Now I would like to order more but the price has increased to $50 which is kinda outrageous, and no guarantee it is fresh coffee. Sadly I will forgo and stock up in the fall.

This particular flavor of coffee if for those who like very strong coffee. I sometimes get Starbucks coffee grounds/pods and they’re not as strong as this flavor. Still good though.

Do you like coffee? Do you like delicious coffee? Do you like a versatile coffee that tastes smooth and delicious when brewed hot as a pour over, traditional percolator, or even as a cold brew? Do you need a coffee that is enjoyable as a straight black cup o’ Joe as well as with some creamer and/or sweetener? This- ladies and gentleman- is it. My spouse and I have tried a lot of coffee beans over the last ten years and this is the only one that ticks all the boxes above. Others might win for a fav straight black brew or to provide some variety to our bean selection, but no other coffee comes close in terms of providing a wonderfully consistent level of delicious flavor no matter how you brew or enjoy it. May Starbucks forever produce this bean.

I’m from seattle and most people that are true coffee drinkers go to the mom and pop stands over Starbucks. I didn’t expect for it to be this good sometimes that dark roast brew is a little weak with other brands

I am using Siri to write this, so sorry for any strange words. This is simply excellent coffee. I make a part of it every morning. I go on my side porch outside into the environment with the birds, bees and everything else buzzing. I just sit there and enjoy my coffee first thing in the morning before I start my day it’s simply wonderful But it has a deep, rich taste and holds up against milk. I don’t use sugar but just drink it with a touch of milk till it becomes a little bit blonde. It’s just simply wonderful to have this. I enjoy it so much. I hope this review helps you in someway and I would say get a pot and go sit outside And enjoy it like you have your own bistro in your kitchen 🙂
