Chris Barnett –
We’ve had this unit for about a year and it has been terrific. I really like that it is relatively quiet and has a pretty small footprint (especially the height). One thing I really wanted was a receptacle with a lid that was easy to pop on and off: our prior grinder had an awkwardly shaped lid with a tiny lip and it tended to fall into the receptacle (getting coffee grounds all over it) instead of sitting on top. This lid is much easier to grasp to remove and fits easily onto the receptacle. The receptacle’s round design also doesn’t retain a lot of grounds (previous unit had a rectangular shaped receptacle with corners that trapped grounds). We like that you can change both grind-size and grind-volume. We had trouble with the unit recently — the burrs apparently misaligned and it no longer gave a fine-grind, even on the smallest setting — so I used Amazon’s process to contact the seller since the unit was still within its one-year warranty. I attached a photo to that communication that demonstrated the problem and offered to share a video, but the seller responded via email within a few hours (!!) and offered my choice of refund or replacement, no questions asked. Since we’ve been happy with the unit, I opted for the replacement; again, the seller responded within a few hours with confirmation it had been mailed, and I received the new unit two days later (!!!). Great little grinder for a great price and backed with really outstanding customer support.
Better than expected –
The piece is very loud, but luckily it grinds the coffee beans fast, and smooth. there is a great range of size of grind to get, and the clean is super easy. It holds a great amount of beans at the top, and the bottom. Super happy with this item, would buy it again.

I purchased this coffee grinder as a replace for my Cruisinart Supreme Grinder when its motor burned out after three years and the grinding burrs were worn. The SHARDOR is better designed. The controls are easier to use, it’s easier to clean, the footprint is smaller on the countertop, and it costs less than the Cuisinart grinder.
Pat in Cincy –
Easy and fast to grind an individual serving, or to grind enough for a week – no problems.
size selection – from French press to espresso is on a dial, that easily turns. The mount to grind is also on a dial from a cup to 20. The grinder turns off when it is done, or you can extend it longer by simply pressing again.
My only gripe is the cleanup. I expect that some grounds might be stuck in the ground’s holder, although some seem to be statically attracted to the plastic container. What i didn’t expect is for the opening, connecting the grinder to the grounds holder cup to get clogged. This seems to attract the ground coffee also, so after grinding you need to get a brush or something up into the area, to clean it out.
Frankly this is not too big an issue – unless you are grinding different types of coffee. For example, my son likes flavored coffee, and grinds coarse for the French press. I like espresso beans, and grind fine for a espresso press. After my son grinds his coffee in the morning, i then have to clean out the machine before grinding my espresso beans, because i don’t want the flavor in my coffee (not too bad if hazelnut – but really bad if amaretto).
i know it just takes a couple of minutes – but hey, this grinder is about convenience – i can hand grind anytime i want, just too lazy.

Works great and worth the money but something that is annoying is that is can make a mess and hard to clean. But haven’t had any issues with it for the 6th months I’ve had it.

Ir is very easy to use and silent. It has generated some cracks in the upper cup but in general it stays being a nice grinder.

I was a little skeptical about buying this grinder after reading so many reviews that said it did not work right, but I caught it on sale and figured it was worth a shot. Well let me tell you I’m so happy I did! This little thing is a work horse! Yes you have to make sure the feeder bowl is inserted correctly, yes you have to clean it after you grind and ensure nothing is stuck in the blade but all of that is easy and you should do it with any coffee grinder. It’s also really simple to use.. Fill the hopper with whole beans, set how many portions you want to grind and make sure your setting for the type of coffee (expresso, drip, perk etc) is set. That’s it, push the flashing blue button and the unit shuts off automatically once it’s done. You can spend a whole lot more on a coffee grinder but the end result is the same thing, ground coffee beans and the freshest coffee around.

Nice little grinder. Performs great. I just wish the container was anti static. Messy.
