At the price I was not expecting much from this. I had an OXO conical burr grinder which bit the dust in just about 4 months. Noting that on the OXO if grinding beans of darker roast rather than grind it just packed up the burrs and literally just crushed them
Not so this grinder. This grinder truly grinds the same beans. Very uniform, very few if any “fines”, very little static. Brings out far more aroma and flavor than I imagined was possible. This thing truly kills it.
Operated at slower speed than other machines, yet grinds fast and QUIETLY. Amazingly quiet
Why the 4 stars instead of 5? The grounds container should be slightly bigger. It it had slightly higher capacity 5 stars would have been awarded.

Sadly have to amend this
Not sure if it’s due to how I use it or the beans I use but I am getting E1 errors a lot. Which creates a need to do a reset by disconnecting/reconnecting. E1 seems to be due to motor over heating but not feeling it get warm or noticing signs of that. Still love the machine so am going to order their larger more powerful one (heavier more powerful motor).
Hopefully that will remedy the situation. Because otherwise this is an outstanding grinder. Many friends have bought the same machine on my recommendation. Given that I already went through an OXO burr grinder perhaps it’s the dark roast gourmet beans I line. Maybe they’re “harder” on the drive train.

Just what I was looking for in a grinder – consistent, quiet grinding on a compact package. Set grind, set timer, push start. Done. No bean powder all over the place thanks to the anti-static cup.

Too small, I can only get three rounds of grinding before I get an error code! But the coffee is perfect. I grind for a French press.
I bought this brand in a larger capacity first, but half of what came out was powder. The grind was inconsistent. This is excellent but I don’t grind everyday! Nor do I want to. I grind and put in a container. This is small and takes forever- but excellent grind. I wish this quality was found in a larger capacity grinder. Yes, I would recommend! .

It’s got a small footprint, simple to operate, and grind consistency seems good for only having made 4 batches. Still dialing in the grind setting and time to make an 8 cup pot. Noise levels are good, but not low. Initial impressions are good.

Edit: I was not satisfied with Amazon’s return policy, given the situation, so I contacted the manufacturer. After just a copy of emails with them, they sent me a new grinder. It arrived promptly and I am happy with it as long as it lasts longer than the previous one. Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars———— The grinder jammed and when I took it apart to clear the jam, found a piece of plastic that had broken off from the interior. The return window just passed two weeks ago. I would not recommend.

I’m sure the hardcore snobs will find something to complain about, but this is the best grinder I’ve had. Every other grinder generated a lot of static, and made a mess all over the counter; this one does not. This one holds plenty of beans in the bin for three runs. The only minor downside is that I have to run it three 30 second cycles to fill the bin for a pot of coffee.

I bought this grinder so that I could update from my blade grinder and make better French press and pour over.
There was a bit of learning at first but I was able to use the grinder that night. It made wonderful coffee. The machine does not measure out cups of coffee and the hopper does not hold beans. That said, I really did not need those features at all. The machine is sturdy and looks good in my kitchen. I did not give the machine a 5 star because I just bought it and need to determine its longevity with time. I did register the product and have a 2 year warranty. So far I am very pleased

My kitchen counter is no longer strewn with coffee grounds. I love it. I had an 18 year old Barista grinder from Starbucks. I loved it from day one. It was a bit messy but not too much. It died about a month ago. I tried to fix it but nothing worked. Bought a small electric hand grinder from HEB. Terrible. Coffee grounds everywhere and not nearly fine enough for me. Sent for a burr grinder from Amazon. Was not cheap but the grounds were everywhere. Stuck to my hands, I even had some on my face. Returned it. Saw that this one claims to be none static. Even though it cost more than I wanted to pay, I bit the bullet. I love, love this grinder. It is quiet, efficient and there is no mess, Zero, none. Love it.
