I got this today, delivery was fast (with Prime). I cleaned it, then filled it with frozen fruits, spring water, and a little bit of monk fruit sweetener. I loved seeing the color of the water change as it “steeped” and flavored the water. I need to get more hydration and this will do the trick for the hot summer months ahead! The stainless steel insert and the sturdy glass makes for a perfect combination for making toxic-free beverages. it fits in the fridge comfortably. I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’m sure my son will want his own for making cold brews,LOL

This is my second cold brew coffee maker. My previous one broke. My son had bought it for me since I was originally using a plain old quart jar, dumping in the grounds, brewing in the fridge and then straining through a coffee filter. I am happy with this coffee pot and like the double mesh metal ground container. It works better than my old one at filtering out the sediment. I like that fact that it is metal also. The coffee pot is a nice size, attractive and makes enough coffee for a week for me. I don’t drink my cold brew coffee iced but drink it hot. I don’t heat up the cold brew coffee–I fill my coffee cup about 2/3 full of water, heat in the microwave and then add some of the cold brew after it is heated. It gives me a nice smooth (not bitter or acid) cup of coffee in the morning. The only difficulty I had with it was figuring out how to get the lid off. Since it is airtight it is a tight fit. I have to hold the center of the lid and pull it to the side to get it open. There were no instructions on how to do that so it took me a while to figure it out. I am happy with the coffee pot and would buy it again.

Great product, only dropped a star for lack of removable bottom to the filter screen for cleaning and lid needs a air release for closing. As you press the lid in it compresses the air and pops back out.

I can only get 3 cups of coffee out of this. So on a bad day the coffee will last me a day and a half 🥲. I would like it to have more volume, and if you leave it to steep too long some bits of coffee will filter through.

Great product, quality. The filter makes all the difference. Not one particle of grounds, sludge in the cold brew. I was a bit skeptical of the airtight fit of the cap but it’s truly airtight, no matter if container is upright, horizontal on shelf, no leaks. Best part is the brew is fresh tasting on day 1 or day 10 left in the refrigerator or on the counter

couple notes: already have a different 1.5L cold brew pitcher. I leave it brewing for minimum 48 hrs and then pour into a separate pitcher so I can start the next batch. 1.5 is not always enough to get me through the 2 days so I bought this to supplement (primarily for the form factor).
1. the filter on this one has smaller holes than my other, which reduces the sediment but produces “weaker” coffee when using courser grinds that is typically recommended with cold brew (I suspect this is why people said it’s more watered down)… I remedied this by reducing to a finer grind (trial and error style)
2. the outer cap has a detachable gasket that is not vertically symmetrical. there are 3 bands that appear to “seal” against the glass, BUT one of the outer bands has a larger outside diameter than the other two. this larger band sits ABOVE the rim of the glass, not inside. (suspect this may contribute to reviews saying it’s difficult to remove)
3. the inner cap can be difficult to remove due to the suction. I usually rock it back and forth while twisting and that seems to be the easiest until the vacuum suction is broken.
overall, there’s nothing extravagant nor terrible about the pitcher. I bought it for its cylindrical shape because despite my other one being available in a 1L, it has an erlenmeyer flask shape and thus consumes more space. otherwise it’s comparable once you figure out your desired grind.

 Cold brew coffee is such a treat on hot summer days. You have to wonder, who came up with the cold brew method and how did they come up with the idea? There are probably hundreds of cold brew coffee makers on Amazon and one thing that this coffee maker stands out from the others is that it features an extremely fine double mesh filter, which filters out almost 100% of the coffee grounds. The result is a clean tasting cold brew with no residual grounds. Overall this is well made but I am knocking off one star because the rubber gasket on the top cap comes off easily; basically every time I take the cap off (as you can see from my video). I’m not sure if this is by design or I got a faulty product, but it is a bit annoying. Other than this minor issue, I can definitely recommend this coffee maker. Say goodbye to paying $3-5 on Starbucks coffee everyday and get yourself one of these. You’ll be glad you did.

This carafe is made well. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and makes having coffee in the morning easy. I refill mine every 2-3 days, BUT I’m the only one drinking it. The lid can be tough to get off to wash it all. The glass feels thin, but hasn’t broken on me yet. I don’t ever find grounds in my coffee either! I’ve had mine for about one year now! Overall I would purchase this again!
