While I am new to the cold brew game I found this product to be great for a beginner. The insert inside the pot is a fine mesh that does a great job filtering out the sediment that comes with home brewing. I have found that the coffee does have a bit of a murky color to it. I have found putting it through a regular paper coffee filter does a great job of getting those extra fine particles out. The instructions say you should brew for only 12 hours. I have found with this particular brewer you should leave it for 48 hours for the best flavor. In the end this product gets five stars from me.

It’s the right size for my fridge. And the instruction does say to wait over night for coffee. I just made it last night. I do believe you should wait the full 24 hours. Cause mine came out slightly watery but that has nothing to do with the brewer. Since its my new brewer so I’ll take my time making the right ratio to water cause that is why its watery. So write down your notes and conduct your experiment on the type of beans you are using. I am a coffee snob so for me this is excellent for me to try to see what coffee beans may be the best for ice coffee. But the flavor is there. This method of brewing is not bitter at all. I love this little brewer cause it’s just the right size for me. I was a bit disappointed its not a glass. But I know it’s going to be durable. I love making hot coffee too I have a hario V60 when I feel like changing up my taste. And I love my moka pot. So I like to experiment with different brewers.

Not at all like the cold brewer several years ago that was so messy to clean & made cold brew that had a lot of grounds & sediment in it. Nooo, this one is so totally better! Easy to set up & make cold brew, just as easy to clean! No more cold brew purchases for me, I’m super happy with this!

Small and easy to clean and use. This is going to save me so much money on coffee!! Keeps for around 10 days not 14 like it says, but it’s usually all gone by then anyway. Would recommend. Takes up little space in the fridge also.
