“Best coffee” is subjective, of course. I like a full-bodied, dark roast coffee and I brew it with a pour-over setup. I make it very strong, and I love Peets for this application. Dark roast only! I’ve been using Peets for many years and it has never let me down. The price, like everything else, keeps going up, and of course, like with everything else, as long as we continue to buy the product, the price will keep going up until we stop. which isn’t gonna happen, so I watch for when it’s on sale and then I grab a bit of backup. I used to have a subscription, direct from Peets, and then I’d get coffee that was roasted less than a week ago. But that’s even more expensive now, so sale-shopping it is.

This coffee is pricey, so I buy it as a treat for myself, but it is delicious and I don’t think you can beat the flavor. I first received it as a gift and then later gifted myself, so if you’re in the mood to spoil yourself, then go for it.!!
