After a few weeks of use, testing the grinding consistency on a daily basis, I can say that I am satisfied with the quality and price of this device. It has a solid construction and looks durable, SS case. I’ve tried it with greca coffee with which I get a very good and tasty espresso at home.

I am just starting to get into grinding my own coffee beans and thought spending around $30 would be a good starting point before I decide to invest any further. I thought this would be a good buy since it had an extra jar to store beans for future use. First few uses were fine, but nothing special. It was my first time using a manual grinder so I didn’t have any expectations. It took quite a while to grind down the beans to the most coarse setting. My current filter requires the beans to be ground fairly coarse and sadly the most coarse setting on this grinder is still too fine for my needs. This was the main reason for returning this product. But after purchasing a more expensive Timemore grinder for $20 more, I found that the new grinder is a better deal than this one. I wanted the extra jar so I can save time in the morning to brew my own coffee grinds since it does take a while to grind with this Kokail grinder, but the Timemore grinder cut that time by half and was so much more easier to work with. I can’t really recommend this grinder to anyone since I feel like for the price tag of $30 you can find another no brand grinder that grinds your beans to a desired texture since the “coarse” setting is not coarse at all.

Bought this manual grinder for my father who loves to grind coffee beans himself for its fresh and rich flavor.
Grinder is made of stainless steeel with glass jars. It has 6 settings that range from fine ground to medium. It is compact size and includes extra glass container, storage bag, spoon and brush for cleaning. My family is very satisfied.

My husband wanted a small coffee grinder so I purchased him this one. Overall it seems to work well and he likes it. He uses it pretty frequently and it’s held up well. We don’t really travel with it, so I don’t have a ton to comment on there. He very specifically wanted a hand crank one vs a electric one which is why I got this one. He doesn’t use them, but the little glass storage containers are a nice addition!
