One of the best features of this grinder is how quiet it is. If you’ve used a traditional home or commercial coffee grinder, you know how loud they are. Easily loud enough to wake guests early in the morning. Not so with this grinder. It is VERY quiet and I don’t think it would wake anyone – maybe even if they were in the same room.

When I tried it today, it did a pretty good job of grinding coffee. Although there were a few larger pieces in with finer pieces but not enough to make any difference. It’s quick too. Easily grinds enough for a pot of coffee in less than 30 seconds. It’s also economical so if you want fresh ground coffee or just want to grind spices this is a good deal.

This grinder does a decent job of grinding beans, but the grind is someone inconsistent. I go for more of a course grind and I’ve had almost complete beans still left after pulsing, but I’ve had the same issue with other grinders too. Easy to clean and the ‘push the top down’ to grind works well. Be careful to not overfill with beans (that helps get a more consistent grind).

I just got a brand new espresso machine and I was in desperate need of a coffee grinder to go with it. I really wanted to love this one, but it’s really only average. I gave it a little bit of an extra part of a star, because the shipping was so fast and it came packaged really well, which always adds, in my opinion, to the value of items.

Here’s what I love about it:

It quiet. Most grinders I’ve had before are so loud, and wake up other people (or worse, me) in the morning, which isn’t great. This one, however, definitely cannot be heard, either by me or my girlfriend, which is amazing. I also love how easy the push top is and how completely painless it is to wash it after use.

What I don’t love about it:

The grinding power isn’t great. There is definitely some beans left over that are whole (not even partial ground down), after doing a long hold and pulsating it. Not the best feature. Also, I really have to be careful not to put too many beans inside (sometimes all that grinds well is like 1/4 cup or so), otherwise the grind is so inconsistent that I have to scoop it all out and regrind the rest of the beans.

However, once you learn the tricks and accept that smaller amounts work better with this grinder, it’s a decent machine. Just know what you need and how much coffee you normally like to make!

I have used this grinder for about 3 weeks now. I have never owned one with this many options. I can change the settings to fine or coarse, the noise level is quiet, and I have even ground almonds to make almond milk! I have owned 3 different grinder machines previous to this, and this one really wowed me! As a coffee enthusiast-I feel like this took my mornings to a different level, and I am not a morning person!

Good if you’re making coffee, but doesn’t grind fine enough for espresso.

This matte black grinder is very powerful but surprisingly quiet. It grinds coffee beans as fine as a more expensive burr grinder, which surprises me. It would also be terrific for grinding spices. It’s easy to operate, you just push the top down on the top cover and it activates the grinding propeller. It’s contoured matte black finish looks really nice and low-key modern. I’m very impressed with this grinder and it’s overall appearance.

When using this coffee grinder you will learn real fast where the fill line should be. The good thing, it literally grinds in 10 seconds or less. It’s super simple, just add the beans, plug it in, and then push down and hold the top canister.

For some reason, the grounds seem to always favor one side after tipping upside down. It’s like a game trying not to spill, and may require some skill haha. The grinder is fairly quiet from what I was expecting to hear, and overall is a good grinder. I can happily recommend this.

I have an electric coffee grinder from the past that I was using for making salsa. Until I heard that chia seeds need to be ground to be effective. So my old grinder was used for chia seeds and I needed one for my salsa making. We thought the box looked good enough to gift to someone. It even included a little brush to clean out leftover ground items. The grinding bowl is deep and wide (I accidentally ground too much peppers) enough for a lot of room to grind. We pressed down on the whole lid and that turns it on and when you lift off the power stops. My only issue with this grinder is that you can only grind for 30 seconds at a time. When you are grinding and mixing many items for salsa it can be time-consuming. Once I finished grinding my salsa, I noticed that the grinder was hot. I had to let it cool before storing it.
