The device produces decent cold brew within 30 minutes. The problem is when it is done there is a large amount of sediment that gets through the filter. Overall a underwhelming product.

I love this cold brew maker. It took a few tries to get the right settings for me but now that I’ve got it figured out I’ll never go back to my cold brew drip system. This gives me incredibly flavorful coffee (I use Bones Coffee which comes in a variety of flavors) and is so easy to use. I wish the pitcher was a little easier to clean (the spout doesn’t come off so it’s a little hard to get into the crevices) but otherwise, this is the best! For reference, I run this for 40 minutes (30 minutes plus another 10 minutes) to get my perfect, strong-flavored brew.

I have used this product a few times now and I’ve been pretty impressed. You can’t really beat the convenience of a decent cold brew coffee in 15 minutes. Is it as good as a 24 – 48 hour brew? No. But as someone who constantly forgets to set up their cold brew in time, and who finds the process incredibly messy, this is a super convenient and clean alternative that’s easy to use and especially great for using between “authentic” cold brew batches. I don’t find the grinds that end up in my cup any worse than what I get with my usual method.

I was spending nearly 7 dollars a bottle for cold brew coffee. I bought a cheap pitcher to make some at home but it would take well over 24 hours to get a decent pot of cold brew and I was plagued with grounds in my coffee. I picked this up on prime day and it has more than paid for itself and just a short time. 20 minutes to call brew coffee and it only gets better as it sits in the fridge longer. No problems with grounds in my coffee And it takes up very little counter space. I am thrilled with this purchase. I would buy this 100 times over.

Instant Pot cold brewer may not be for everyone but it is a great way to make sure you always have cold brew coffee at the ready! I own two 24 hr cold brew coffee makers but … well you know how that goes lol. Enter Instant Pot Cold Brewer, which I got at a great price. After following the directions it was apparent I needed to brew longer. After some experimenting I found my sweet spot at 1 hrs. Using Starbucks it comes out delicious! It’s actually just as good as a 24 hr brew in my honest opinion.

I’ve had a few different “rapid cold brewers”, and they all operate on the same basic principle of accelerating the soak by forcing more water through the material. All the ones I’ve tried so far have done their job fine, but tend to eventually have a mechanical failure because it’s all moving parts, hence why I keep trying new ones when the last one breaks.
This one is most similar to the “Dorotea” rapid cold brewer, with a magnetically driven stirrer built into the infuser basket. It does the job fine, and relatively quietly, although at first I thought it was broken because it only stirs in a rapid burst once every minute. However, this is as designed. I guess they think that the material only needs to be agitated periodically and then allowed to soak in more water in between. I’m hoping that the shortened run cycles will increase it’s lifespan (that, and it all actually seems pretty solidly constructed).
Might update later if/when it eventually fails, but probably only if it lasts less than a year.

I’m a night shift nurse. And few things are more annoying than waking up early to grab coffee on the way to work. I’m an iced coffee girl, hot coffee just isn’t for me. I’ve purchased other iced coffee/cold brew machines. And they produce hot coffee that you’re supposed to pour over ice. This is kinda gross to me. I was wanting to find something that gave me coffee at a temperature that wouldn’t immediately melt ice.
This guy does the trick. 15 minutes is all I need to have a tumbler full of iced coffee, and off to work I go, without needing to make additional stops along the way.
I did take off 1 star. Despite using very coarse ground coffee, there is still a decent amount of sediment at the bottom. And as other reviews have stated, it can produce a murky-appearing coffee. But overall, my coffee tastes strong, and doesn’t have that weird pre-made bitter taste.

I bought this after reading reviews (I have 6 other instant pot products, so I am a fan). Very well packaged, easy to assemble. I got it primarily to make iced tea ( i bought Ahmad Tea Earl Grey), though I bought Stack Street coffee to make iced coffee.
After cleaning the carafe and filter, I made my inital 32 ounce carafe of iced tea. It turned out great! I used one scoop of loose leaf tea with 32 ounces of water.
It works by inserting a stainless steel basket in the carafe with the loose leaf tea or coffee, pressing the plus button to select the number of minutes you want to brew. When the time is up, the machine beeps.
At the bottom of the steel basket, there is a spinning device that moves the tea around. It spins for about 5 seconds, and cycles several times during the brew. The spinning device is controlled by magnets in the base of the unit.
After using the machine a couple times, it began making a very loud screeching sound. I thought “this is the price you pay to get instant iced tea.” Then I decided to contact Instant customer care. They led me through some tests, had me video the machine in operation, then said I should return to Amazon.
I told them that I would prefer returning it to Instant (knowing that I would get a run around on Amazon) and they got back to me saying they would send out a new unit. I said, I just need a replacement basket, everything else is fine, but they sent me a new unit.
The new one is whisper quiet (hopefully it will remain silent).
Instant pot support is great, and I love this product.
