Excellent value foe price paid. Other conical ceramic grinders were many times more expensive.

Charge lasts a while. Has an auto reverse once the hopper is empty to try to knock any loose grind out of the burr. My burr was making contact at the finer settings. Make sure you run in empty at its finest setting to open up the clearance. Then be sure to wash everything sufficiently, unless you like the idea of questionable ceramic dust in your system.

This works as it should, although really slow and not very powerful.

I liked this grinder for espresso fine grinding. However after only 3 months the unit won’t charge any longer. It’s completely useless now.

This is not the fastest grinder, but it works great for espresso. I was about to return this, but then tried it out one more time and got it perfect, I maxed it to the finest possible setting and got my desired grind.
My shots are using a non-pressurized 58mm double shot portafilter and the video I posted is from said portafilter.
This grinder is essentially a manual grinder with a rechargeable motor on top of it. It takes some time to grind your beans but it grinds them fine enough for a good espresso. On average, it takes about 2-3 minutes to grind a double shot, but that gives me time to warm my cup, warm the machine up, get everything ready. If you want to do a quad shot… then do more beans.
My machine is a Gaggia Classic pro modified to 9 bars from the factory 14/15 bars. I am using the 58mm non-pressurized portafilter. My shots tamped to about 30-35lbs of pressure and pull over 24-30 seconds starting when the drips get into the glass. (Video above is a little bit faster cause I pre wet the shot accidentally as I tried to record… but good crema)
If you want a cheap solution over spending $300+ on an electric coffee grinder or over $150+ on a manual grinder… try this for $25 and see how you like it… I like mine
5 stars because it grinds good and is a cheap solution to getting started into fresh home espresso… you get what you pay for, and I got lucky with this!

Bought this to grind some fine espresso coffee to use in my machine, but it is too inconsistent and/or too coarse. Causes major channeling unless I overload my filter. Still gave it 3 stars because I liked everything else about the unit and wish I could keep it. The charge lasts a decent amount of time, the grinder stops automatically when complete, and it’s overall very easy to use.

This is a very good grinder that functions well. It could use these improvements:
1 The power button is easy to trip accidentally just by grabbing the grinder, resulting in frequent unintentional starts. A switch that wouldn’t be tripped as easily (such as a slide switch, or a switch that required a sustained press instead of a momentary one) would be a better choice.
2 Part of the reason the power button is easy to trip inadvertently is that the button is difficult to see. The arrow and lock icons that indicate whether the grinder is locked are also difficult to see. I solved this problem somewhat by placing small colored adhesive dots over the power button and lock items. It would be better for the manufacturer to include vivid or contrasting colors on the lock arrow and icons.
3 The grinder’s battery should last longer. I get about a week’s use out of mine before having to recharge it. It would help if the grinder could be used while charging. It wouldn’t add much to the grinder’s weight to have a battery of twice the capacity of the current one. Others are selling the exact same grinder for more, so additional cost is not a problem. Whoever has a longer-lasting battery feature first should win more initial (and thereby sustained) business from it.
