Bought this unit during Prime Day. The grinder did the job. The Coffee grounds is nice and even. The unit doesn’t take up too much space, and it is speedy compare to my mobile unit. Below are what fall short.
1) where the grounds get feed into the plastic container needs better seal. As you can see from my photo, it leaks out and got all over the inside of the grinder.
2) they could use better quality plastic for the container. I understand Coffee grounds has natural oil and can stick, but for some reasons my mobile grinder’s container never stick as bad as this unit. Usually couple of shakes and it is clean, but the container from this unit is not as you can see from thr photo. Very cheap plastics.
Overall still a good grinder to me. Hope they improve in those two thing so I can upgrade when this one brokes.

I was trying to upgrade the wife’s coffee experience with a burr grinder since they seem to be all the rage. BUT I wasn’t interested in spending $200 in case she didn’t like my plan so I bought this one after reading many (many) reviews.
Basically, it works great as far as the grinding goes, but the hopper you dump the whole beans into has to be “locked in” for the grinder to run and it’s just doesn’t. It jumps out of the locked position as soon as you start the machine, so you basically have to hold the hopper in the locked position while grinding. This takes minimal effort, but it is a device failure. That said, it’s such a tiny problem that the wife didn’t even complain about it.
So maybe 4.625 stars.

I had a Mr Coffee burr grinder, which had some issues after years of use. This one is MUCH quieter. I have 2 complaints about it. The hopper is a little small and a bit of the grounds seem to end up clinging to the area on the grounds cup, but on the outside. If you clean it somewhat regularly, you shouldn’t have any issues and I don’t think any of these grinders will be perfect in that regard. You will always find a small sprinkle of grounds on the counter somewhere, but with any of these grinders.

Product has a nice look and size. It grinds coffee, though I didn’t check for coarseness by changing the grind.
However one of the main features I wanted was the ability to put my brand in the hopper, set the number of cups, and have the right amount of beans ground. It did not do this, it grinds as many beans as you have in the hopper.
I thought that I had a lemon so I exchanged it for another. The same thing happened.
I will be returning the replacement as well.
Update: I received an email from the company apologizing for my inconvenience and offering a full refund. As I had already returned the grinder and bought a different brand I passed on the refund and mentioned that they should update the instructions to indicate the the cup measure does not work. They responded that they would pass the information to the relevant departments and offered me a $20 gift card and would appreciate an updated review which I am doing here and increasing the stars from 3 to 4 for their excellent customer service.

Love this grinder! A small footprint so it sits nicely on the countertop. And so easy to use – set it and forget it. First you fill the hopper with your choice of coffee beans. Then set the grind coarseness you want from very fine to coarse. Set the time for how much coffee ou want ground. And that’s it. Press the button, watch the magic, and smell the coffee aroma! OMG, you want a cup right then! The hopper holds a good amount of beans so you don’t need to fill very oftern – and the lid is tight enough that it will keep your beans fresh. We grind just enough for what we make into coffee and a little extra in case we want another pot later in the day. The ground coffee container snaps into place so it is easy to know if you seated it all the way in before you start the grinder. After you grind coffee, when you remove the grounds container, tap the lid a couple times so any ground coffee stuck to the lid falls and all settles to the bottom of container. You will get some residual ground coffee onto the outside of the container but it is very managable and easy to clean after several grinds. We have probably ground 25-30 times at the time of this review and have not had to clean the machine yet, but it looks very easy to do.
Lastly, our coffee has never tasted better since we switched from the whirlybird grinder to this burr grinder. – so flavorful! Anyway, I think you will like this durable coffee grinder. Enjoy!

Overall not a bad grinder, I’m pleased with it! It grinds reasonably evenly, certainly better than a cheap pulse grinder, but not as even as a professional grade grinder.
There are some warnings in the instructions about not using the grinder for too long due to overheating but I haven’t had any issues with that. For context I grind enough coffee for a full 12 cup pot.
My biggest complaint is that this grinder creates an insane amount of statistic electricity and therefore is very messy. Some statistic electricity is normal but this just seemed almost ridiculous. However the easy work around for this is to add 2-3 drops of water to the beans before you grind them (I put them in my coffee cup and stir it with my spoon for even distribution). It completely fixes the statistic electricity and messiness is brought down to a “normal” level. See the picture attached.
