This coffee is becoming harder and harder to find, especially at a reasonable cost. Hopefully we will be able to find it again.

A full flavoured coffee if you let it steep for 1-2 minutes-the flavour is pleasing with its dark colour and richness. I use an Aero Press and am pleased with this brew.

Good beans and i like it and keep re-ordering, However in this particular batch / order the beans were a bit over-roasted, coffee taste was bitter and darker. Hope the next one is better because i had a better experience on several past orders.

It’s really hard to find whole coffee beans that are decaffeinated, especially ones that taste this good. Great product. They are more expensive than regular coffee beans, but they are worth it.

This is the signature coffee of the old A&P supermarkets that used to grind the whole bean variety right at the check out counter in New Jersey. The flavor is rich and delicious like coffee should be. Incredible aroma. Excellent choice. No bitterness just excellent coffee flavor. My husband and I grind the beans ourselves and it hits the spot every morning.

Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. When I get coffee at five dollars a pound it’s usually oily crappy dark roast coffee that isn’t good. This coffee is a medium roast or dark roast. It’s a six out of 10 on the roast scale. When you look at the coffee it’s really clean with no young beans Earl beans all the beans are standardized. When you have different colored beans this means the coffee is cheap. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And I am proud to drink it. I have tried at least 20 coffees on my SAECO Xsmall espresso machine. This machine is supersensitive and if the beans are too oily or dunk rain well even after adjusting the grind. The machine clogs up and then you have to take the whole machine apart. It’s one of the best espresso machines I’ve owned but it’s very selective on the kind of beans you want to use. I’ve tried 20 different brands going from coffee at $40 a pound to my local Winco store that sells five dollar pound of coffee bags which are oily and cheap. Out of all 20 coffees. Only two worked. PYK coffee and EIGNT O’CLOCK. Everything else clogs up the machine either it’s too oily or artificial flavors are added or the coffee is just cheap coffee and sold at a high price. I even used very overpriced $40 a pound Starbucks coffee from Rwanda and it clogged up the entire machine and the espresso tasted like garbage. I even tried a Starbucks blonde roast which is supposed to be a little dryer and it still clogged up the machine. Any Starbucks coffees that I used with clog up the machine and break it and I’ll have to replace parts. But this coffee 8 o’clock. Does the job. It doesn’t clog up the machine. It cooks really well. When the coffee PUCKS come out. They all together and they are in one piece where I can lift them up and feel them. Because of this you can tell the coffee is good. When are you Starbucks coffee or any other brand of the 18 brands I’ve tried The coffee would either break apart in the internal machines mechanism or it would break apart when dumped in the drop drawer. Which tells me the coffee is oily and low quality and it was roasted too high of a temperature and not slow roasted. Which this means the coffee was roasted at a high temperature and all the oil’s were pulled out when roasted meaning you don’t get a lot of caffeine and you get a crappy burnt cup of coffee like Starbucks. Even though this coffee is cheap don’t judge the price. The price is well priced for what you’re getting good quality cup of Joe nothing too crazy. And the people that say taste like mud those are the people that want to drink hazelnut latte is filled with a bunch of sugar and garbage artificial flavors. To describe it it’s a good cup of New Jersey coffee that you would have the bagel and cream cheese and it works amazing my espresso machine I’ve been on the hunt for a good coffee for the last three years and this is the one that really makes the deal. My espresso machine has pull 200 shots of this coffee and not once has a clogged up and not once have I had to replace a single part because of this espresso machines ability to use this great coffee.

My 3rd pkg will arrive in a few days so I have been drinking this brand for most of this year. I compared all premium brands and this brand is best for me in regard to flavor, freshness and price. The flavor I get is dark roast with chocolaty hints. I grind it to a powder and run it thru Mr. Coffee drip. Taste great at a reasonable price. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys coffee as much as I do.

Es uno de los que más me ha gustado pero lo sentí un poco caro para el café de diario, si lo volvería a comprar sin duda para ocasiones especiales

The product itself (whole bean Columbian Peaks) is very good.

However, the description at the top and in various places below now says this is ground coffee. The photos with each option are a mix of whole bean and ground.

I’ve ordered this 3 times. Once, I received what I ordered (whole bean Columbian Peaks). The other 2 times, ground original. All from the same option selection.

This brand has been my benchmark / standard brand for 50 years. I struggle with boutique brands, frankly cannot afford them and do not enjoy them any more than really good coffee. I hand grind this bean into delicate magic in my cup.

Coffee is one of the main things to “get me into” the store, or to go shopping. A couple of keyboard clicks, it is at the doorstep directly. Probably fresher than most offerings on the shelves.
