I’m quite passionate about coffee and considering that I travel quite a lot I have in the car a lot of accessories in order to make coffee on the go but the only thing that I needed was a grinder because I prefer to use beans to get that nice fresh coffee and even though before I had one grinder but it was made from plastic and it didn’t last that long so for that reason I was looking for one that it is very well built and I found this one and I have decided to see how it performs.

Related to the build in quality which is an important aspect for my use, I have literally not in the complain about this product because it is made from metal and even when I have put coffee beans which were not that roasted and they were quite hard, the grinder didn’t have a problem getting very fine coffee powder(the type of espresso) and related to the battery, from what I have seen based on my experience it lasts for around two hours in total somewhere around that(I didn’t count exactly how many minutes because I use it for roughly five to ten minutes max when I grind coffee).

Also since I have it I didn’t experience any kind of issues related to the beans getting blocked inside and to my surprise it is not that noisy which is also a nice feature. I grind on average 50 grams of coffee and so for this product performs as expected and also it is easy to clean which I do from anytime.

The first thing that struck me was how heavy and solid this grinder was. I expected something a little more flimsy and I was pleasantly surprised that this exceeded my expectations. I had been looking for a burr grinder to make my cold brew. The first time I tried to move the knob that changed how fine the finished product is, it wouldn’t budge. My son moved it for me and now it’s easy for me to do. I put it on a really coarse grind (again, for cold brew) and was happy with how coarse it came out. Sometimes not even the store’s grinders will grind coarse enough. It IS a grinder for a single cup and I had to load and empty 5 times to fill my brew basket but it was all very fast to do. This is a great little tool, I imagine it will be wonderful for traveling with a portable drip system. I also love the fact that it’s USB rechargeable.

Is a good grinder. Does as advertised. Would like if there was a different way to adjust grind, but for the cost it’s a minor gripe. It’s not very big so it’s great as a spice grinder, since my last bag of salt was VERY course to point of barely edible from the way it changed the texture of my food… and this fixed that easily now. I might keep eye open for deals on larger coffee grinders, though, since this is more for a cup or two worth of coffee, and I make big batches of cold brew… not that it would take long to do a few batches of bean grinding with this. It’s fairly quick. But it also has a warning about not running it for very long without a rest because it overheats. I don’t think it’s going to be that hard to clean either since don’t see me grinding anything fairly messy with it.

This thing is whisper quiet while grinding, which I absolutely love especially in the morning. The grind it produces is very even, and comes out nice and fluffy. You might be able to pull off a decent espresso grind with this. I didn’t charge it out of the box and have probably used it 5 times, and it still hasn’t required charting. I like that it charges via USB c.

At a listed capacity of 15grams though, it’s probably too small of a capacity for a pourover or anything other than single cup brewing or espresso.

would recommend, provided you’re okay with the small capacity.

I picked this up as I’m trying to cut down on counter space, and the hand mill while it does an excellent job was a total workout every morning. This provides similar results without all the manual labor. I will say my true hand mill can produce a finer grind, but this is more than adequate for my delonghi dedica.

The capacity is right at a double shot at around 14.5 grams, maybe a little more if you were to push it against the recommendation of the manual. It takes about as long as it would to hand grind that amount, but it’s totally effortless. Sounds like it’s struggling just a bit, probably affected by how fresh your beans are too I’d imagine. Otherwise it does a good job, I just wish the bottom recepticle was real glass and not acrylic.

The aluminum housing feels premium, but as far as cleaning it goes, it would be difficult to tear down the burrs as they have tiny retaining rings holding them in place. Best bet would be a cordless air pump or those handheld vacuums to just blow out the grounds if you’re changing coffee’s.

Although this states that is portable it’s not something that I actually carry around with me all the time, however what it is is something that I can grow out of the cupboard to go as and when I need it which works really well for me.

It’s rechargeable so I just have to top up the battery every now and again and when I grab it I can use freshly roasted beans pop them inside and grind them to whichever level I need at that time based on recommendations. It makes a huge difference to the taste of your coffee although I didn’t think you would it really does.

Yes it made feel a little opulent however in my eyes it’s really worth the extra time to do it yourself.

I wanted to get a small grinder to use as I am the only coffee drinker in my family. I went with this travel grinder because it met my needs as being a smaller grinder to make single cup servings of coffee.

This grinder is heavy. It is the first thing I noticed when taking it out. I like that as it makes it feel reliable and sturdy. It does a great job at grinding coffee, too. It has a plethora of different grinding options to make the coffee grounds as coarse or fine as you like. I am not a big coffee connoisseur, so I’m not getting fancy with how I prepare my coffee, so I put it at 6 and find a medium grind just fine for my needs.

I do not grind my own coffee every day. Sometimes, I will use other coffee I have and will leave this be and not use it. The battery on this coffee grinder will die rather quickly and I have to plug it in after not using it for a few days because the battery discharged and is dead. It’s not a huge device so it can’t have a large battery, but I would assume that it wouldn’t die so quickly after only a few uses. It charges quickly so that is OK, but I think that quick charge to full = quick discharge.

That aside, this is a robust coffee grinder that gets the job done and it does what it’s supposed to do well. Just make sure you charge it before you head out the door with it if you are using it on the go.

For a heavy coffee drinker, this unit is pretty small but most grinders are not portable and rechargeable! Furthermore, I found that multiple grinds can accommodate as many people as you have a charge in this convenient and well-made machine.

The body of the grinder is a solid metal and the plastic cup on the bottom can be used to store the beans until ready for grinding (about 1/4 cup max which matches the max input into the grinder itself) and then captures the ground product.

I struggled with locking and unlocking the grinder (where the beans go) and the motor unit. You just have to get a feel for the “click” needed to lock them in place.

The grind adjustment is confusing and the instructions offer little help. After making the attached video, I tried adjusting the grind setting numerous times. The settings range from 0 to 10 and then there is a setting labeled “II”. I found only negligible differences in courseness/fineness. After all, this is intended as an espresso grinder so one would expect a fairly fine ground.

Note that the grinding compartment has three separate compartments. You must spread the beans evenly across these compartments to grind all of the beans at the same time.
